There are many ways to experience the action and drama of Warhammer, from tabletop games to animations, and now two new board games are coming to retail stores across the USA, Germany, and Australia. Not only that, but a favourite from The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring™ is also returning.
Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus – The Miniatures Game
Based on the hit mobile game of the same name, Warhammer 40,000: Tacticus is a quick-fire duel between two teams of three transhuman warriors – Space Marines and Death Guard – fighting in an arena based on the game itself. You’ll need all your wits and tactical acumen to prevail, drawing cards and utilising each model’s unique abilities to get one up over your opponent.
The rules are easy to learn and get you underway almost as soon as your six push-fit miniatures are assembled, with a detailed companion booklet covering everything from building the models themselves to your first games. As a bonus, players of the mobile game will be able to unlock the brand new hero Veteran Sergeant Ramus, who is available for the first time via a code in the box.
This game will be available first in Target stores across the US, and then in Germany and Australia at a later date.
Warhammer 40,000: Beginner Set
Take your first steps into the 41st Millennium with the Beginner Set, perfect for Warhammer newcomers. Inside you get 12 push-fit miniatures – six Space Marines and six Orks – with a 32-page booklet covering the background of the grim, dark future, the forces you’ll be controlling, and rules for quick introductory games. You also get a range ruler, dice, a play mat, and a set of pop-out card terrain so you can get right into the action in an afternoon.
The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring™ – Battle in Balin's Tomb™
Recreate the iconic battle inside Balin’s Tomb from The Fellowship of the Ring™ with a board game packed with miniatures, including the entire Fellowship of the Ring, 12 Moria Goblins, and a mighty Cave Troll.
