Trazyn and Orikan return in The Wicked and the Warped

After nearly five years, the long-awaited sequel to The Infinite and the Divine is on the way. Ancient rivals Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner are back in action in The Wicked and the Warped by Robert Rath.

It’s no exaggeration to say that The Infinite and the Divine is one of the most beloved Black Library novels of the last decade, pitting two impossibly ancient Necrons against each other in a back-and-forth struggle for possession of an ancient artefact. It’s a story like no other, as the bitter rivalry upends entire planets across thousands of years – clashing with Exodite armies, xenos uprisings, and a spell in Necron small claims court.

The sequel finds Trazyn in an unusual position, as the opening of the Great Rift presents an opportunity to mend his… strained relationship with an embittered Orikan and uncover the fate of a long lost expedition to the Chaos-corrupted planet of Amenthis. Nothing involving Chaos is ever easy, however, and the horrors they unearth may have far greater consequences than either could possibly predict.

This new novel will be available in a suitably regal Special Edition, in addition to its regular hardback edition.

And if you haven’t read The Infinite and the Divine yet, it will be returning in hardback at the same time.

Pre-orders aren’t far away, so keep checking back with us here at Warhammer Community to find out when you can add one of the most hotly anticipated books of the decade to your own special collection.
