New Orlocks revealed for Necromunda

New miniatures and rules for the industrious Orlock warriors are about to open up more options for the House of Iron in Necromunda.

Road Warriors

Necromunda’s industry consumes immense amounts of metals, and the gangs of House Orlock have an iron grip on the convoys that ferry it in and around the hives. Guard these vital trade routes and waystations with a new band of Orlock Road Warriors, armed with a wide variety of weapons and wargear.

Each miniature can be outfitted with several different equipment loadouts, from dual shotguns and boltguns to pneumatic hammers and scrap welders. The eight gangers are split between Road Shooters, Road Engineers, Road Enforcers, and Road Blasters, and these specialists bring plenty of different skills to your gang.

Orlock Road Sergeants & Cyber-Mastiffs

Much like the Goliath Forge Bosses and Escher Matriarchs, the House of Iron also equips its best warriors to lead gangs into battle with advanced gear and loyal beasts. The Orlock Road Sergeants are hard-bitten enforcers with brutally effective weapons, and often take to the underhive with vicious cyber-mastiffs at their heels.

Those critters certainly give the sumpkrocs a run for their money. Each pack contains a Road Captain, five Road Sergeants, and a pair of cyber-mastiffs – enough muscle to maintain order in any gang.

Ogryn Minders

Speaking of muscle, the violent and physical nature of convoy protection makes it an ideal vocation for listless Ogryns, who Orlock gangs are only too happy to hire for their natural head-breaking talents and tendency to follow orders without question.

These two Ogryn Minders can each be armed with your choice of ripper gun and knuckledusters, ripper gun and maul, or a frightening oversized wrench known as a spud-jacker. They’re easy to customise with head options, different shoulder pads, loin cloths, and even toe caps for their boots, making it easy to build your bodyguard Brute.

Underhive Journal

All of the rules for the new weapons and loadouts, along with tons of background lore and campaign rules, will be found in the new Underhive Journal: Orlock – The House of Iron book.

This is an essential companion to the faction and includes options for two new gangs – Outriders customise their vehicles and earn legendary names in high-risk missions, while Wrecking Crews tear up the underhive for scrap with demolition charges, jump boosters, and heavy weapons.

There are also Orlock-specific skills, tactics, side jobs and more, which help your gangs feel like proper members of the House of Iron.

We’ll be looking into the Orlock gangers and how the new gangs work as we get closer to the release of their new book and miniatures. See you on the road!
