From next month, you’ll be able to try something new in your local Warhammer Store. From Saturday 10 October, you can go into your local store to take part in a staff led activity to build and/or paint one of EIGHT miniatures and find out more about those factions.
Try Something New
Fans of Warhammer 40,000 can choose from a Necron Warrior, Cadian Shock Trooper, Adepta Sororitas Battle Sister, or Chaos Space Marine Legionary. Meanwhile, explorers in the Mortal Realms can opt for a Chaos Warrior, Deathrattle Skeleton, Orruk Gutripper, or Cities of Sigmar Steelhelm. If you're interested in these factions, this is a great opportunity for you to try an activity with our store staff using these miniatures.
You can use the opportunity to try out a new colour scheme, or even take the first step on that army that you’ve been thinking about. You can also call on the expertise of the store staff to get help with a new painting technique – the Chaos Warrior could help you perfect painting fur, while the Deathrattle Skeleton could let you try out weathered metal or decaying cloth. Just drop in and speak to a friendly staff member to find out how you can join in.
These eight miniatures will be restocked in stores, so you don’t need to worry about missing out on day one.
Once you’ve tried out your new colour scheme, you may want to grab some more paints while you’re in store – so it’s worth remembering the Pick ‘n’ Mix paints offer. Choose any 10 Warhammer Colour paints and you’ll get the most expensive one free.
Try Warhammer Tone Pro
Speaking of paint, don’t forget you can come into your local store to try out the new Warhammer Tone Pro range. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your hands on the new paints, experience the incredible coverage and vibrant pigment, and see how they can be used for multiple techniques.
The 150 new paints will be available on shelf from Saturday 24 October, when you’ll also be able to get a Tone Pro-themed collectable coin. It’s the second coin of the month – you can also get one featuring the symbol of Ulgu, the Realm of Shadow from Saturday 3 October.
Both coins are only available while stocks last. Ask your store manager how you can get hold of them.
Bring a friend with you when you visit your Warhammer store, and they can also pick up a miniature, get a painting tutorial, and play an introductory game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar. They can also join the recently revamped Battle Honours programme, where they’ll be able to do hands-on activities based around the key areas of the Warhammer hobby – Build, Paint, and Play – from our expert staff.
