Each faction receives new options for the 2026-27 season, including a mix of warscrolls, enhancements, spell or prayer lores, and artefacts of power.
Gloomspite Gitz

Be careful which mushrooms you eat in the Realm of Fire. Some, like the Fizzcap, may give you extreme power, but at an extreme price. This Special Knick-Knacks enhancements can be given to any non-Hero unit, and opens up some arcane options.

SPECIAL KNICK-KNACKS
Once Per Battle, Any Hero Phase
FIZZCAP
Upon eating this fungus, the ingester’s brain fizzes and pops, and an arcane conjuration bursts out of their mouth, usually with fatal effect.
Effect: This unit can use a SUMMON SPELL ability from the manifestation lore you picked during army composition as if it had WIZARD (1). Instead of making a casting roll for that spell, the casting roll is 12 and cannot be modified. That spell cannot be unbound. Then, if this unit is not MOONCLAN, roll a dice. On a 1-4, 1 model in this unit is automatically slain.
Alternatively, you could throw some Spoofshrooms when you need to make a quick getaway, or if you’re feeling really lucky, roll the Glitzy Bitz Rolla – a shiny dice (we just hope it’s luckier than our dice rolls!) You can also add new Fellwater Troggoths and Sunsteala Wheelas to your Gitz or learn the Lore of the Little Waaagh! spell lore.
Ogor Mawtribes

Ogors are due a huge update of miniatures and a new battletome very soon, and if that were not enough, some of your existing Beastclaw units get a boost too. The Frostlord on Thundertusk gets a new warscroll, which adds the Cold Fury reaction. This makes your Eruption of Fury ability even deadlier for your foe, while also being safer for you.

FROSTLORD
ON THUNDERTUSK
Reaction: You declared the ‘Eruption of Fury’ ability for this unit
COLD FURY
The elemental energies of the Everwinter and the Realm of Fire combine within the Thundertusk to explosive effect.
Effect: When resolving attacks as part of that ability:
For each unmodified hit roll of 6, inflict an additional 3 mortal damage on each enemy unit in combat with this unit instead of D3.
For each unmodified hit roll of 1, allocate 1 mortal damage to this unit instead of D3 (ward rolls cannot be made for that damage point).
There’s also a new warscroll for Huskard on Thundertusk, Plunder of the Mawtribes artefacts, and Well-Fed Beasts Monstrous Traits. All of these new Ogor updates can be used as soon as the new General’s Handbook drops with the current battletome, though they have been written with the new battletome in mind, and so can be used for the entire year-long season.
Ironjawz

Orruk Brutes are already pretty angry, which only gets worse as they enter Aqshy. Anyone foolish enough to attack them is only going to get hit back a LOT harder as they ask the question, You Call Dat a Punch?

BRUTES
Once Per Turn (Army), Reaction: Opponent declared an ATTACK ability that targeted this unit
YOU CALL DAT A PUNCH?
There’s nothing a Brute loves more than showing someone how much ’arder than them they are.
Effect: For the rest of the turn, add 1 to hit rolls and wound rolls for this unit’s combat attacks that target that enemy unit.
The Megaboss also gets some new rules, and you can raid Da Boss’s Hoard artefacts and choose from the Brutal Beasts monstrous traits. Our favourite is Angry 'Un, because who doesn't like a fury level powered Maw-krusha charging into the enemy lines.
Kruleboyz

The Kruleboyz get a bonus to their most important warrior – the Stab-grot! As the Killabosses lead their ladz across the Great Parch, they send their little lackeys off to unleash their pent-up fury.

KILLABOSS
WITH STAB-GROT
Once Per Turn (Army), Any Combat Phase
JUST KEEP STABBIN’
The Killaboss angrily kicks their luckless Stab-grot towards an enemy, where the little git does what they do best.
Declare: Pick an enemy unit in combat with this unit to be the target.
Effect: Roll a number of dice equal to your fury level. You can spend 1 rage dice. If you do:
Add 1 to each roll.
If your opponent’s fury level is lower than yours, they must increase their fury level by 1, to a maximum of 7.
Then, for each 3+, inflict 1 mortal damage on the target.
The download also includes Kunnin’ Creatures Monstrous Traits, Krule Artefacts, and the Scourge of Ghyran warscroll for Killaboss on Great Gnashtoof – for when you want to unleash a hot-headed beast in the Realm of Fire.
Sons of Behemat

What’s that noise you hear across the Great Parch? It’s Brodd’s Bellows – a new prayer lore. Always be wary of being kicked by The Terrible Toes.

BRODD’S BELLOWS
Your Hero Phase
THE TERRIBLE TOES (4)
Yelling incomprehensibly, the priest jumps up and down. Nearby, enemies are squashed flat by invisible forces that leave massive footprints in the ground.
Declare: Pick a friendly SONS OF BEHEMAT PRIEST to chant this prayer, pick a visible enemy unit within 18" of them to be the target, then make a chanting roll of D6.
Effect: Roll a dice for each model in the target unit. If the chanting roll was 8+, add 1 to the roll. For each 6+, inflict 1 mortal damage on the target. Then, if any enemy models are slain by this ability, halve the target’s Move characteristic until the start of your next turn.
KEYWORDS: PRAYER
There are also new warscrolls for the Gatebreaker Mega-Gargant and Mancrusher Gargant, and Cracked Heels enhancements – a good reminder that you should always moisturise when fighting in Aqshy!
All of these updates will drop in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar app next week.
Remember, you can pick up the new General’s Handbook 2026-27 when it hits shelves tomorrow.
