Community Painting – The Red Terror burrows into our hearts

When a big new release comes out, we like to see what some talented community painters can do with it – and today it’s time for the Red Terror from Kill Team: Terror on Devlan.

Dozens burst from the ground, decked out in all kinds of colours, with Andy, Luki, Angelo, and Chris opening us up with a quartet of vicious monsters that do a great job showing how the dramatic base can be made to fit with all kinds of terrain.

Despite its name, the Red Terror looks awesome in any colour, and few of our submissions locked themselves to a crimson palette. Denis, Jessica, Chris, and Jason all went for something quite different to the usual red, with a mix of dark colours and bright carapaces throughout.

The red is iconic for a reason, though, and plenty of painters – including David, James, Angel, and Chris – took that to its extreme with some phenomenal takes on its traditional colour scheme.

And that’s not all of them! Cast your eyes over more of the Red Terrors that tunnelled their way into our inbox.

What a terrifying spectacle! Remind yourself what the Red Terror can do in games of Kill Team and Warhammer 40,000. Then join us tomorrow as we see what our wonderful painters have done with the other half of the boxed set – the elite Spectre Squad – and don’t miss your chance to get your own when they go up for pre-order this Saturday.
