The new Captain on Bike is revving his engine – get ready to lead your Space Marine armies in a crushing charge into enemy lines.
Space Marine Captains are experts at all forms of warfare, and that includes fighting from the back of a fast-moving Raider-pattern bike. Their ride is covered in ornamental details, while the Captain bears all the hallmarks of their station including a stately flowing cape.
Though especially popular with Chapters that prize fast, deadly attacks with plenty of close combat – looking at you, White Scars and Blood Angels – there are many Chapters who deploy their command staff on bikes for vital reconnaissance missions or important hit-and-run attacks.
The new kit offers your Captain a choice of a power sword, thunder hammer, or plasma pistol for their right hand, with a scabbard for the sword should you take that option or want it sheathed while the pistol is out. You also get your pick of five head options – three bare and two helmeted – and you can pose the bike driving forward or tilted at rest with the rider’s foot on the ground.
They’re great Leaders for the new Outriders if you want to start your own 41st Millennium biker gang.* The Captain even gives his unit Cleave 1 after a charge, making it easy to take down enemy hordes.
