New terrain templates match your battlefields to your army

The free Warhammer 40,000 terrain templates are now available in four new styles to match your miniatures’ bases, and you can download them below.

Missions from Warhammer 40,000 make use of a standardised set of terrain areas to help give your battlefield the right amount and mixture of terrain, and until now they’ve been available in a dusty brown to reflect the furious war for Armageddon. Battles take place on all kinds of worlds though, so now you can download template files for terrain areas in four common basing colours:

• Death World Jungle

• Imperial World

• Maelstrom World

• Death World Snow

These are a great fit for armies based with Verdia Veldt tufts, Astrogranite, Martian Ironcrust, or Valhallan Blizzard. Matching terrain is a great way to give your army a bit of extra pizazz, and helps your terrain areas blend in nicely with a cool, thematic board.

All you’ll need to do is make sure you print these templates on A3 paper, or they’ll end up in all kinds of strange sizes. You can find them all, alongside existing templates for the Armageddon-themed terrain areas, on the Warhammer Community downloads page now.
