Revealed – Morga the Mighty stomps into view

It takes a lot to lord it over an ogor, so imagine how tough the warlord at the top must be. Actually, don’t imagine, just look – Morga the Mighty is here.

As the Overtyrant of the Meatfist, Morga is unquestionably the most powerful and influential ogor alive – so great, in fact, that the conclave of Butchers have named her the champion of the Gulping God. Not that she cares much, as Morga’s priorities lie squarely with conquest and consumption.

Where her father made contracts with various ‘civilised’ factions to maintain power in Ghur, Morga wields a combination of cruelty, strength, and cunning, and views anything less than complete domination as weakness unbecoming of an ogor. Rival tribes are brought in line with promises of plunder, only for one of her vicious offspring to hang around and ensure no thoughts of disloyalty go unpunished.

Morga rides into battle on her personal glutthorn Grutta, though she isn’t the only ogor warlord to mount up on such a large and ornery beast. This multi-part plastic kit also comes with the option to build it as a Tyrant mounted on their own glutthorn.

Tyrants often rule by sheer virtue of their size and strength, and riding a glutthorn is a pretty good way to ensure they’re always bigger and stronger than the competition. Many of their foes will find themselves crushed into paste before the warlord’s cleaver even reaches them, and what little resistance they put up will usually sink uselessly into the mount’s excessively thick hide.

You get a choice of two heads with the Tyrant build – either helmeted or unhelmeted – and the glutthorn can be built with or without the large armour plates strapped to its shoulders. Rules for these new units will be in the new Battletome: Ogor Mawtribes, which you can pick up first in the Ogor Mawtribes Army Set going up for pre-order this Saturday.
