Next week, some classic Orks miniatures return for a limited time, and a trove of Warhammer merch drops so you’ll have plenty of time to prepare for Christmas.
Warhammer 40,000 – Made to Order Orks
The Orks are in all the headlines with their new Codex and miniatures hot off the presses, and now you can own classic incarnations of iconic models and units from the dim and distant (or sometimes bright and garish) past.
Nazdreg, Zodgrod Wortsnagga, and Ghazghkull Thraka all have modern miniatures in the current edition of Warhammer 40,000, but they had their origins much earlier – all the way back in the 2nd edition, in Zodgrod’s case. Their classic metal models are available alongside three Goff Rockers, Mad Dok Grotsnik, and Boss Zagstruk, and if you fancy owning a legendarily hefty kit, you can also get a Deff Dread in all its weighty glory.
Please note that Zodgrod and Nazdreg do not come with paper banners.
Warhammer Merch – Christmas Collection
Christmas may be a few months away, but time moves strangely in the Warp, and it will be here before you know it, making it a good time to pick up some festive accessories and fabulous gifts before the rush starts.
First up, doll up your Christmas tree with a selection of baubles and hanging decorations, then cap it all off with a new tree topper in the shape of the eight-pointed Chaos star. We can’t say it won’t open a Warp portal inside your presents, but we hear the Chaos Gods are all about handing out gifts…
These tree decorations will not be available in Japan.
You can’t go wrong with socks at Christmas – choose from Blood Angels or Goff Orks – and keep yourself warm with a hat and scarf set for the sons of Sanguinius.
For your desktop, deck it out with a sinister servo skull-styled mouse mat – a design also available in a handy bottle opener – and cork up your best bottle of blood red wine with a Soulblight Gravelords bottle stopper.
The bottle stopper will not be available in Korea.
From our friends at TOMY, three new plushes join the range. Keep all of your plush tech in working order with a Tech-Priest Manipulus, borrow Da Red Gobbo’s loyal(ish) squig Bounca for some soft and safe hijinks, and surrender to the will of Tzeentch with a Pink Horror. Just don’t try splitting that one into two Blue Horrors. All you’ll get is fluff.
Finally, new badges and keychains come from Starforged. Keep your keys to hand with a plasma rifle, heavy bolt rifle, or Ministorum flamer keyring, and consecrate bags, hats, and jackets with two new purity seal badges for the Blood Ravens and Crimson Fists.
This week on Warhammer TV, Loremasters seeks knowledge of the xenos menace by delving deep into the background of the major Ork Clans, while Tale of Four Gamers sees the four participants playing their first Combat Patrol games.
Then on Thursday, Ultimate Paint-Off gets to grips with the new Warhammer Tone Pro range revealed during the Big Autumn Preview show, testing out several sets of five paints and seeing what you can do with the new colours.
