There’s a huge slate of Warhammer events coming up in the next few months, including Opens, Golden Demon, and the UK National Tournament Series. Let’s have a look at what's on the horizon.
UK National Tournament Series
Warhammer is hitting the road, and bringing incredible events to fantastic locations across the UK.
The play experience at these premium venues has been designed with your comfort in mind, with custom tall tables and plenty of room around them to move. And there’ll be refreshments on site throughout the event.
The setup will be similar to the National Tournament Series event in Japan earlier this year, pictured here. Check out all that leg room!
Tickets for the first three are already available, with a range of Singles and Doubles events on offer. Players will receive a pack of goodies, and lunch and a drinks voucher are included on both days in the cost of your ticket.
There’s a range of gaming and painting awards up for grabs,including Best Overall, Best General, and top three Best Painted Armies. For those looking to make it to the World Championships of Warhammer in Barcelona this year, all of these events are qualifiers.
For Warhammer 40,000 players, you’ll also be playing on the new ready-painted terrain!
Epsom Downs: 5-6 September 2026
The debut event of the National Tournament Series sees the roadshow head to Surrey. There are Warhammer 40,000 Singles and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Doubles Grand Tournaments.
Telford: 31 October-November 2026
Our second stop in the series is in Shropshire, where there are Warhammer 40,000 Doubles and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Singles Grand Tournaments.
Kempton Park: 14-15 November 2026
We’re back to Surrey for our third National Tournament, where there are Warhammer 40,000 Singles and Warhammer Age of Sigmar Doubles Grand Tournaments.

Golden Demon at Spiel Essen
22-25 October 2026
There are now fewer than 100 days until the European leg of Golden Demon, at Spiel Essen in Germany, and tickets are on sale.
This is Warhammer’s ultimate painting competition, with thousands of incredibly painted models being submitted every year.
You’ll need at least two day tickets for Spiel, so you can enter and collect your miniature, as well as the Golden Demon add-on. All of the details for entry and collection can be found on the Spiel Essen website.
Not only that, but while you’re at Spiel Essen you can stop off at the Warhammer booth, and even book in a game of Kill Team Live laser tag!
Warhammer Opens
Warhammer Opens are our premier events, and are held all over the world.
There’s loads to get involved with, including Grand Tournaments, the travelling Warhammer Events store, social events, and painting workshops from world-class artists, including Golden Demon and Slayer Sword winners.
Newport, UK: 14-16 August 2026
Warhammer is taking over the International Convention Centre Wales in Newport, near Cardiff, next month. There are Grand Tournaments for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Kill Team, as well as a Warhammer 40,000 Narrative, hobby challenges and more – all set against the backdrop of the Welsh countryside.
Krakow, Poland: 11-13 September 2026
The Warhammer Open series comes to Poland for the first time in September, with a bunch of Teams events to take part in. Gather a band of friends for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and Kill Team.
Atlanta, GA, USA: 20-22 November 2026
Your last chance of the year to qualify for the World Championships of Warhammer will be at the Warhammer Open in Atlanta this November. Held just weeks before the grand finals over in Barcelona, you can compete in Grand Tournaments for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Kill Team.
The Warhammer Open in Atlanta is held on the same weekend as the Warhammer 40,000 Grand Narrative. Tickets for that are also on sale now, and we’ll have more details on it soon.
Palm Springs, CA, USA: 15-17 January 2027
The first Warhammer Open of 2027 sees us return to Palms Springs Convention Center in California. There’ll be Grand Tournaments for Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar and Kill Team, as well as a Warhammer 40,000 Narrative event, and loads more.
