The elves of Lothlórien are an iconic part of the world of Middle-earth, and their legendary queen – and her loyal retainers – are returning for a new round of classic Made to Order miniatures.
Over the long history of the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game, Galadriel has appeared in many guises, and this one shows her at her most fearsome as the Protectress of Lothlórien – ideal for those times you need a queen in place of a dark lord.
This alternative sculpt for Galadriel, one of the most powerful magic wielders in the game, can be used in both Lothlórien and White Council armies, where she will use her arcane powers to defeat the forces of Evil.
Alongside her come two units of Lórien warriors, ready to defend their Queen from the deadliest of foes.
The most noble and renowned of the Galadhrim are elevated to the prestigious role of Guards of the Galadhrim Court, where they put their peerless martial skills to the defence of Caras Galadhon itself. Other Elves eschew the golden panoply of the Galadhrim and prefer to fight hidden among the trees, dressing in Elven cloaks to blend in with their surroundings.
Both can be added to your collection, with each coming as a unit of six metal miniatures.
Those aren’t the only miniatures returning for a limited time, however. To get to the Elves’ golden boughs many travellers in ages past passed through the infamous realm of Khazad-dûm, and some of the Dwarves that protected it are also getting a Made to Order release.
The Dwarves of Durin’s Folk are a hardy bunch, trained extensively from birth to combat the plagues of Goblins that infest their ancestral homes, and they come ready for action with two units of Warriors and a pair of capable Commanders. Four of the six Dwarven Warriors are equipped with axes, shields, and heavy armour, while the other two wield two-handed axes. The six Dwarven Bowmen wear the same gear but trade their shields for powerful Dwarf bows.
The set of two Dwarven Commanders includes one Dwarf Captain and one Dwarf Warrior with a banner, so you can effectively lead your stalwart warriors to victory in the dark tunnels beneath the mountains.
