There’s a lot coming up next week, with boxed sets for Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, plus a load of Black Library goodies. Can Commissar Cain possibly handle it all?
Warhammer 40,000 – Ciaphas Cain

Daring leader. Expert duelist. Beloved by his men. And, allegedly, a great hero of the Imperium. Ciaphas Cain steps from the pages of Black Library, accompanied by his trusted meltagun-toting aide Jurgen. The duo can be built on separate bases or as a mini diorama.*
Warhammer 40,000 – Battleforce: Tyranid Swarm

Consume every last scrap of biomass with an unstoppable swarm of Tyranid bioforms. This new Battleforce box is led by a monstrous Hive Tyrant, and includes a Lictor, three Tyranid Warriors, three Von Ryan’s Leapers, 10 Hormagaunts, 10 Termagants, and two Ripper Swarms.*
Warhammer 40,000 – Battleforce: Chaos Space Marines Warband

Put the galaxy to the torch at the head of your own warband, mixing raw Space Marine power with devoted cultists and deadly daemon-infused machines. This Battleforce contains 10 Legionaries, 20 Chaos Cultists, a Venomcrawler, and two Obliterators, led by a sinister Lord Discordant riding a Helstalker. *
Warhammer 40,000 – Battleforce: Necron Host

Bolster your risen legions with more soulless Necron soldiers. A Catacomb Command Barge leads the group from the front, flanked by 20 Necron Warriors, five Flayed Ones, three Ophydian Destroyers with their accompanying Plasmacyte, a Canoptek Doomstalker, and six Scarab Swarms. *
Warhammer 40,000 – Battleforce: Astra Militarum Platoon

Support Commissar Cain on the front line with a dutiful platoon of Astra Militarum infantry, artillery, and vehicles. Command is split between a Commissar and a Cadian Command Squad, who are accompanied by 10 Cadian Shock Troops, while a Basilisk, Field Ordnance Battery, and Rogal Dorn tank hammer enemy lines.*
Each of the Battleforces will only be available while stocks last.
Warhammer 40,000 – Centaur RSV

Ferry your troops to the front in the relative safety of the Astra Militarum’s newest people-mover – the Centaur Rapid Strike Vehicle. This speedy, economical vehicle can carry plenty of Guardsmen and has ample open roof space from which to shoot.
Warhammer 40,000 – Hippogriff AFV

Keep up with the fastest vehicles and lay down powerful cover fire with the Hippogriff Armoured Fighting Vehicle. The Hippogriff brings raw agility, while carrying your choice of a vigilator cannon, chiron gatling cannon, melta cannon, or heavy lascannon.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Maximus Battle Group

Another iconic armour mark from the history of the Horus Heresy returns alongside classic war engines in the Maximus Battle Group box. You get 20 Tactical Marines in brand new MkIV ‘Maximus’ armour, 10 new MkIV Assault Marines with the option for chainswords or power lances, a Sicaran Battle Tank, and a Contemptor Dreadnought – plus two Infantry and two Vehicle transfer sheets.
The Maximus Battle Group will only be available while stocks last.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Whirlwind Missile Tank

Rain down fire on your enemies from afar with the Whirlwind Missile Tank. Armed with HE or Pyrax missiles, it excels at striking enemy infantry from the other side of the battlefield, clearing out key objectives for your infantry to claim.
Rules for the Whirlwind Missile Tank can be found in Journal Tactica: Mailed Fist – Legiones Astartes Super-heavy Tanks.
Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Journal Tactica: Zone Mortalis

Take the fight to confined spaces in tunnels, space stations, and claustrophobic hive cities in the new Journal Tactica: Zone Mortalis. This tome updates rules for tense 1,500-point battles set in confined spaces, with plenty of new missions and some new units to try out in battles between bulkheads.
Black Library – For the Emperor (Illustrated and Annotated Edition)

Relive Commissar Cain’s first Black Library novel with new author annotations – to go alongside the ones from Inquisitor Vail – and gorgeous new artwork in the Illustrated and Annotated edition of For the Emperor by Sandy Mitchell. Can Ciaphas Cain bring a world pulled between the Imperium and T’au Empire invaders back from the brink?
This hardback edition will be available while stocks last.
Black Library – The Valhallan Regimental Banner

Unfurl the banner of the legendary Valhallan Ice Warriors and show your allegiance to the Imperium! This cotton banner is held up with a gold-coloured hanger rope and will look excellent above or behind your mighty collection.
The Valhallan Regimental Banner will only be available while stocks last.
Black Library – The Sabbat Worlds Crusade

The seminal text on the sprawling Sabbat Worlds Crusade, filled with in-world lore on one of the Imperium’s deadliest crusades in recent memory, returns in a new hardback edition.
This is your first chance to buy this edition, which is currently only available while stocks last. This edition may return to print at a future date.
Black Library – Rynn’s World (Special Edition)

A colossal Ork Waaagh! lays waste to the home world of the Crimson Fists, and Pedro Kantor must fight back or die in the ravaged ruins of his Chapter’s homeworld.
This beautiful Special Edition of Rynn’s World by Steve Parker is wrapped in a blue cloth-effect cover with red and gold foil details, printed page edges, and a red ribbon book marker, and includes a new introduction by Black Library.
This product will be available while stocks last.
Black Library – Paperbacks

Dive into the worlds of Warhammer with three novels, coming out in paperback for the first time. Krakenblood by Marc Collins follows a Wolf Priest on a special quest, the Imperium takes to the skies in Vagabond Squadron by Robbie MacNiven, and a Skink Starpriest seeks a Seraphon temple-ship in Starseer’s Ruin by Adrian Tchaikovsky.
Black Library – French-language Books

Catch the first part of the new two-part novel HIVE by Dan Abnett and Sandy Mitchell’s Vainglorious in new French-language paperback editions, which will also be available on the Black Library App soon.
Black Library – German-language Books

If you happen to speak German instead of French, we’ve got you covered too, with the first part of HIVE and Defender of the Imperium – an anthology of classic Ciaphas Cain stories – in your native language.
This week on Warhammer TV
Scribes and Scriveners drops on Warhammer TV on Tuesday, with Denny Flowers sitting down for an interview about writing for Black Library, followed on Wednesday by a Battle Report that pits diabolical Chaos Space Marines against the technological might of the T’au Empire.

Then, we behold the majesty of senior Warhammer Studio artist Daz’s Aeldari army in Armies of Renown, before gathering round for the third and final episode of the incredible animated series Aeronautica Imperialis on Friday.
Here at Warhammer Community, we’ve got an exciting Warhammer Preview event on the horizon – look out for information about that tomorrow. It’s also the start of the Battle for Hive Death Mire campaign around the world, so make sure to get your results in and decide who wins – Space Marines or Orks.
* These products are available while stocks last. Ciaphas Cain and the four Warhammer 40,000 battleforces are delayed in South Korea.
