Sunday Preview – Mighty war machines in the Age of Darkness

Unleash the big guns with a pair of tanks for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, all available for pre-order next week.

Horus Heresy: Falchion Super-Heavy Tank Destroyer

Obliterate enemy tanks and Knights with the neutron-wave cannon on the Falchion Super-Heavy Tank Destroyer. You can add even more firepower to its devastating main weapon with a choice of laser destroyers, gravis heavy bolter batteries, or lascannon arrays mounted on the sponsons.

Horus Heresy: Spartan Prometheus Assault Tank

The Spartan Prometheus Assault Tank is a massive transport to both safely get your Space Marines across the battlefield and provide them with devastating fire support. It can be armed with sponson-mounted laser destroyers or gravis heavy bolter batteries, giving it a different loadout from the Spartan Assault Tank.

Rules for the Spartan Prometheus Assault Tank and Falchion Super-Heavy Tank Destroyer can be found in the Liber Astartes: Loyalist Legiones Astartes Army Book and the Liber Hereticus: Traitor Legiones Astartes Army Book.

Eisenhorn: The Omnibus

The adventures of the legendary Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn are brought together in a French paperback including the fan-favourite novels Xenos, Malleus, Hereticus and The Magos, along with a trio of short stories. The eBook version will be available in the Black Library app from 6 June 2026.

Over on Warhammer TV, it’s Kragnos vs Cogforts on Battle Report, the new episode of Weapons and Wargear is all about the mysterious substance known as realmstone, while Drew Paliès is the guest on Painting Desk. White Dwarf 517 will also be added to the Warhammer Vault.

Here on Warhammer Community, our Faction Focus series continues, and we’ll be taking a look at the rules for some of the miniatures in the Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon boxed set.
