A mysterious ship bears down on Fenris and Bjorn the Fell-handed, legendary Space Wolves Dreadnought, believed to be the oldest loyalist Space Marine alive, wakes to meet it in a new novel by Justin D Hill.

The novel sees a ghost ship bearing down on Bjorn’s homeworld carrying an ancient foe, and with heretics from the traitorous Death Guard set to bring poxes and poisons to Fenris, the ancient warrior rises to its defence.
Bjorn: The Fell-handed will be available first in a glorious Limited Edition release, signed by the author, featuring a beautiful full-art cover depicting the Dreadnought’s sarcophagus, blue-silver foil details, printed page edges, and a black ribbon page marker.

For those keeping track, Bjorn was present when Leman Russ made his final departure from the Space Wolves – bidden to stay behind by his gene-father – and has spent over 8,000 years interred inside his Dreadnought, drifting in and out of stasis sleep whenever his matchless experience is needed. Though only awakened rarely by the time of the Indomitus Crusade, his wisdom and experience surpasses that of any other Dreadnought, and there are few in the Imperium who would not heed Bjorn’s sage advice.
The novel will also be available later in its regular hardback edition, with some cracking artwork of the Fell-handed in action.

Speaking of returning veterans, the classic novel Deathwatch by Steve Parker is also heading back to shelves for its own Special Edition release. As one of the winners of the 2025 Black Library Reader’s Choice vote, Deathwatch got its first paperback reprint in years just a few months ago, and now you can own a strictly limited Special Edition copy fit for the Space Marines’ elite xenos-hunting veterans.

The novel follows Talon Squad, a specialist team of six veteran Space Marines, as they descend to the planet of 31-Caro at the behest of a mysterious Inquisitor Lord known only as Sigma. There, a murderous shadow stalks the dark and preys on the Imperium’s faithful, which Talon Squad must find and eliminate – or die trying.
These gorgeous editions of Bjorn: The Fell-handed and Deathwatch will be available for pre-order very soon, so check in with us to find out when you can secure your place in the halls of the Fang and take on the xenos swarms of 31-Caro.
