The Siege of Death Mire global campaign has been running for two weeks, with players around the world battling it out to decide the fate of the crucial Armageddon hive city. During week two, thousands of you have been sending in the results of your Warhammer 40,000 games. Thanks to everyone who’s taken part – let’s see who won this week…

Ork players – wot are you doing? Losing again to da humies? Don’t make Ghazghkull come and do the work himself… he won’t like that!
As promised, we’re revealing a new miniature for the winning faction – meet Kaius Konorius.
Kaius fought alongside Marneus Calgar and Chaplain Cassius when all three were neophytes, and at the dawn of the Era Indomitus, he was tutoring battle‑brothers in bladework on Macragge. In the wake of his near‑fatal duel against Abaddon the Despoiler, Calgar summoned his old comrade to serve as his champion. Now, clad in armour reminiscent of the Victrix Honour Guard and armed with a pair of weapons called Severance and Rebuke, this grizzled blademaster is ready to take on all challengers.
In the battle for Hive Death Mire, Imperial forces are winning, slowing the advance of the Ork attack and inflicting devastating losses on the xenos.
With the campaign now at 2-0, and with only two locations to play for, the Imperium looks well placed to repulse the alien invaders completely. The Orks may still hold the imperium to a draw, though, dragging the city into a protracted state of battle (which sounds a bit like a win for Orks anyway).
The two remaining battle zones are Hive Heart and the Gallows Space Port. To help decide the fate of Hive Heart, register the result of your Warhammer 40,000 game online. You’ll need a My Warhammer account to take part, and you’ll need to dedicate your victory to either the Imperium or Orks (although you can play your game with any army).*
Gallows Space Port will be decided by results registered in Warhammer stores, so head on down to your local store and see how you can influence the result!
Don’t forget, when you register your results online, you’ll be entered into a draw to win one of 40 1,000-point armies of brand new Space Marines or Orks miniatures.** So, prepare your forces for one last push, and claim Hive Heart!
* Maybe your Leagues of Votann have staked a claim and Imperial warriors have been diverted to chase them off, or your Aeldari have been guided by the strands of fate to take out a key Ork force.
