The new edition of Necromunda is out now, and the gangs of Houses Goliath and Escher are set to receive more reinforcements and Underhive Journal books next week.
Necromunda – House Goliath

The rough and ready gangers of House Goliath out-muscle the competition with brute force and carefree violence, and now they have some new foot soldiers to aid them. The Goliath Forge Smelters box contains eight gangers who bring a range of specialist skills, while the Forge Bosses and Sumpkrocs set expands your manpower with six champions and a pair of “tame” Sumpkrocs to chow down on your rivals.

Enhance your Goliath gang with variant rules, background lore, and expanded gene-smithing mechanics in the Underhive Journal: Goliath – The House of Chains book. This 48-page paperback tome is the perfect way to get more from your gang.

Grab a set of useful reference cards that keep your Gang Tactics, Territories,Fighters, and more close at hand, while tossing a handful of thematic gang dice that include two Injury Dice, three Goliath-themed D6s, one Scatter Dice, and two Firepower Dice.
Necromunda – House Escher

Likewise, House Escher get their time in the sun (or as bright as it gets in the underhive) with the Blades of the Matriarch specialists from the Necromunda Skirmish Core Set, a set of six Matriarchs and two phyrr* cats, and the Underhive Journal: Escher – The House of Blades.

The book expands your gang options with rules for Wyld Hunt gangs – big fans of deadly pets – and Chymist Cults, along with expanded chem-alchemy options and a wealth of background lore on House Escher.

As with the Goliath side, you can also get a pack of handy reference cards to help keep your attention on the table, and a set of House Escher-themed dice cast in bright translucent yellow with purple pips.
White Dwarf Issue 528

The Ogor Mawtribes stampede into White Dwarf with a glorious spread fit for the very large-and-in-charge brutes. A big battle report finds them smashing the Ossiarch Bonereapers to bits – no doubt annoyed that there’s no meat on their enemies – while Paint Splatter takes you through the steps to paint ogors from start to finish.
Elsewhere, a new hobby guide delves into the world of customising majestic Cogforts, and the Orks swarm over Warhammer 40,000 with background lore for Snikrot’s infamous Red Skull Kommandos and rules for using the Gorkanaut and Morkanaut in White Dwarf’s Titanic Duel minigame. **
Black Library – Blackheart: Claws of the Maelstrom

The dark and violent adventures of Huron Blackheart continue in Blackheart: Claws of the Maelstrom by Marc Collins. Driven from Chogoris, Huron continues to bait the White Scars throughout the burning ruins of the Yasan Sector, yet as his schemes and insults threaten to ensnare the sons of Jaghatai, a new threat emerges. Out of the tumult of the Cicatrix Maledictum, the Great Devourer pours into Huron’s domain. The Tyranids threaten not only his war, but all he has built since the fall of Badab.

This new novel will be available in a regular hardback edition, as well as an awesome Special Edition with a striking alternate cover, printed page edges, and a ribbon page marker. Black Library – Voice of Command

The Cadian 2002nd Mechanised Regiment has spent the last two years slowly pushing the forces of Chaos off a holy shrine world, but on the eve of their final push, the Archenemy might be the least of their problems. Capricious commanders, Inquisition inspections, and the mysterious blue star above have all plagued Colonel Gabriel ‘Venom’ Velterson and his men, but they’ve made it this far, and the assault on Saint Stanislava’s Adoration might just be the last thing they do before getting off-world.
If, and only if, they can survive.
Voice of Command is a new Astra Militarum novel by renowned author Richard Swan.
Black Library – The Relentless Dead (French and German editions)

Oleris III is a dead planet full of tombs and catacombs, and it is on this still world that Colonel Graven and the 401st Krieg Regiment are hunting for a missing inquisitor. Deep beneath the surface, in labyrinthine ossuary tunnels, the dead are stirring, and Graven must battle the spectres of a tragedy of his own making while forging forward.
The Relentless Dead by Steve Lyons will be available to pre-order in French- and German-language editions.
Black Library – Apostle (French edition)

Cerastes, Dark Apostle of the Word Bearers, has returned to the world he once called home. Though his host has been crushed by the fearsome Palatine Aesura and her Sororitas of the Order of the Thorn, Cerastes’ dark ambition is undaunted. He will have his revenge. He will resurrect the Eightfold Bane. And he will convert the world he despises to the worship of Chaos. Legitur is about to receive the Word, and it will burn with the fires of revolution.
Apostle by David Annandale will now be available in a new French-language edition.
This week on Warhammer TV, Scribes and Scriveners picks the brain of Black Library author Mike Vincent – author of recent Night Lords novel The Remnant Blade – while Battle Report hosts a classic clash between the Skaven and Maggotkin of Nurgle, and Warhammer Colour Masterclass helps you get the most out of the dull metallic armour and hazard stripes of the Iron Warriors.

Here at Warhammer Community, we’ve got a long-awaited reveal coming tomorrow and rules reveals across the week from the world of Necromunda. See you then!
