You’ve probably heard of the Word Bearers as those intensely fanatical followers of the Chaos Gods, but as we’ll learn on Loremasters today, they weren’t always the 41st Millennium’s premier ideologues. Back in the day, they directed their fanaticism towards the Emperor of Mankind, and being the understanding sort that he is, he accepted their devotion with grace and humility.
Just kidding, he made them watch as he burned their perfect city to the ground for daring to go against his Imperial Truth. Ever since, they’ve shacked up with gods who actually appreciate their worship.
