This week on Warhammer TV, you can learn how to add intricate details to your miniatures, get tips for victory in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and discover the tumultuous history of the city of Embergard.
Live Now: Loremasters – Embergard

Our adventures in the Mortal Realms begin with an exploration of Embergard – a city with a tumultuous past. Loremasters takes a look at the founding of this key strategic location for Sigmar's forces, why it has been almost constantly embattled since its relatively recent settling, and what's happened to it since the Hour of Ruin* to make it a setting for both Warhammer Underworlds and City of Ash Spearhead battles.
Live Tomorrow: Victory Pointers – Warhammer Age of Sigmar – The Big Picture

Across the last few episodes, the Victory Pointers team has delved into the intricacies of the shooting and combat phases of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Now, as Jimbo from the Warhammer Studio joins for a look at the big picture, we asked presenter Lewis for top things he’s learned over the past few weeks.
Lewis: It was a real treat getting the opportunity to chat with members of the Age of Sigmar studio team that have a ton of experience with the game. A few things that really stood out to me amongst all the knowledge they shared was just how vital every single aspect of your (and your opponent's) turn is. When I chatted to John about the Shooting phase we spent time discussing just how significant the phases that come before it are. Setting up your targets and making sure your shooting units are in the right place at the right time via deployment and movement is a vital step before you’ve even loaded a longbow.

Another really handy tip was when Matt showcased when to utilise the pile in ability during our Combat Phase episode and when this might not be the best choice. I’m guilty of wanting to get stuck into my opponent in melee, meaning more often than not I’m always choosing to pile in, which in some scenarios can be more detrimental to claiming an objective or securing some vital victory points.
We also talked heavily about commands too, exploring how impactful they can be on the battlefield and when to employ them for maximum effectiveness. It certainly gave me a lot to think about and made me excited for my next game!
Thanks, Lewis! In this week’s episode, you’ll learn how to bring it all together, with a focus on seizing the initiative, utilising universal commands, and scoring maximum points. Generals, pay close attention and check out the previous episodes – your victories depend on it!
