The Word Bearers and the Ultramarines may have taken centre stage, but they weren’t the only factions pulled into the devastating war – and in our continuing series we’re casting an eye over the Taghmatas of the Mechanicum that took part.
This week’s download is a brief overview of the Mechanicum’s presence on Calth from 2015’s The Horus Heresy: Book 5: Tempest, and how their cybernetic cohorts reacted to the sudden Traitor onslaught. It also covers the disposition of Mechanicum enclaves around the worlds of Ultramar – including the planet Konor, whose magos councils were infamously paralysed by jealousy and mistrust.
