Lord of Hysteria
Joining the Lord of Hubris and Lord of Pain, the new Lord of Hysteria is a support character, obsessed with being known as the greatest of revellers. They have sold their souls to powerful pleasure-daemons, giving them a devastating combination of physical prowess and the ability to plunge their followers into fits of violence.
The miniature has a choice of two ceremonial weapons – a mirrored blade or a censer – and two different helm-toppers. Of particular note are the Lord’s footwear – hooves, adding height and showing the self-inflicted pain they undergo to prove their insanity to depraved followers.
Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh
The rules for the Lord of Hysteria can be found in the new Battletome: Hedonites of Slaanesh. It’s packed with background lore about Slaanesh and the mortals and daemons who serve the god, inspirational photography, and updated rules for fielding an army in Warhammer Age of Sigmar. The new battle traits revolve around temptations – will your foe be able to resist or will they succumb?*
The Decadent Host
Easily grow your Hedonites of Slaanesh force with the Decadent Host boxed set. Based around the mortal followers of the Dark Prince, it contains Sigvald, three Slaangor Fiendbloods, five Myrmidesh Painbringers, five Slickblade Seekers and 10 Blissbarb Archers (plus their blissbrew homonculus). As well as being an ideal way to start a new army or add to an existing one, it’s a great base for the new Decadent Host Army of Renown from the battletome.
Spearhead: Epicurean Revellers
You can also unleash the quicksilver daemonic forces of Slaanesh with a new Spearhead. Seek the favour of the Dark Prince and earn bonuses depending on how many units you have on the tabletop. The Epicurean Revellers consist of the Thricefold Discord, three Fiends, 20 Daemonettes and five Seekers.
Thricefold Discord
A Thricefold Discord is made up of three squabbling Heralds, each seeking to gain prominence over their two rivals. Originally available as a Warhammer Underworlds warband, they are now being added to the core Hedonites of Slaanesh roster. The three daemons are each experts in a particular Sacred Seduction, offering a variety of battlefield benefits.
The Accursed Reflection
Fans of the Disciples of Tzeentch, Helsmiths of Hashut, Maggotkin of Nurgle, Skaven, and Slaves to Darkness who want to dip their toe into excess can do so with a new Regiment of Renown. The Accursed Reflection consists of a Contorted Epitome, Wheels of Excruciation, Mesmerising Mirror, and Dreadful Visage. Bathed in seductive sorceries, the Accursed Reflection spits forth Manifestations of Excess, opening up new tactical options for Grand Alliance Chaos.
