Back in 2006, the Vostroyan Firstborn debuted as a new Astra Militarum regiment that featured heavily in the Fall of Medusa V campaign . Now, their classic miniatures are returning as a special Made to Order release.
Vostroyans are a proud and fierce people who pledge the firstborn child of every family – common or noble – to the service of the Astra Militarum, as penance for refusing to supply the God-Emperor with regiments during the Horus Heresy. Their home world of Vostroya is a powerful industrial planet with a legacy of fine weapons and wargear, and its regiments honour a tradition of passing down their ornate equipment to new recruits joining the Firstborn.

This expansive Made to Order release includes most of the original Vostroyan Firstborn miniatures, originally released nearly 20 years ago. The Vostroyan Platoon is a great way to get loads of them in one package, containing:
A Command Squad including one Commander, one Veteran Guardsman with master vox, one Standard Bearer, and one Veteran Guardsman with medi-pack
20 Vostroyan Guardsmen, including a Sergeant with power sword, a Sergeant with power fist, a Guardsman with plasma gun, and a Guardsman with grenade launcher
Three Vostroyan Lascannon Teams
Separately, you’ll also be able to get a squad of 10 Vostroyans with a sergeant and flamer-carrying warrior, and a Vostroyan Command Squad.

There are three additional Commanders – one armed with a chainsword, one with a power fist, and one with a plasma pistol and power sword.

Take on any enemy with a choice of special weapons. There are individual Guardsmen with a plasma gun, grenade launcher, or flamer, and a pair of Guardsmen with sniper rifles.

Finally, eradicate the enemies of the God-Emperor at range with heavy bolter, lascannon, and mortar heavy weapons teams.

These powerfully nostalgic miniatures are a great addition to your collection and can still be used in games of Warhammer 40,000 as stand-ins for Cadian Shock Troops, Heavy Weapons Squads, and more. They’ll be available via our Made to Order service soon – keep an eye on Warhammer Community to find out when you’ll be able to enlist the Firstborn.
