After taking on the forces of Tzeentch, the Legio Custodes will have to face up to Slaanesh in the next Journal Tactica supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, which focuses on the brutal assault on Kol.
Many who hear the word “Signus” will think of the blood-filled and blood-fuelled battles upon Signus Prime between the Blood Angels and the armies of Khorne.* While the IX Legion fought against Ka’Bandha, the Legio Custodes were fighting against the hordes of Kyriss the Perverse upon the mining world of Kol.
Journal Tactica – The Battle for the Signus Cluster: Assault on Kol is packed with lore and background on the Signus Cluster, the Daemonic forces of Slaanesh, and the battles the Legio Custodes fought beneath the surface of Kol against the Word Bearers, Daemons, and corrupted forces of the 606th Cohort of the Solar Auxilia.
The book includes rules for a Ephoroi Venatari-Proconsul to command your forces from the skies, a Hykanatoi Proconsul-Delegate for leading smaller armies, and an updated profile for the Gyrfalcon Jetbike Sodality.
There is also a brand-new army list for the Daemons of Slaanesh, bringing Fiends, Seekers, Daemonettes, and more to the battlefields of the Age of Darkness. On top of this, you’ll get army-wide special rules, and the option to include Exalted Sections, representing corrupted Solar Auxilia units.
This opens up new options for your games and gives your Loyalist Space Marines and Legio Custodes more enemies to face as they try to defeat the forces of the Warmaster.
