June’s Miniature of the Month and collectible coin revealed

This month, a special Armageddon-themed collectable coin is up for grabs in your local Warhammer store to celebrate the new edition of Warhammer 40,000, while the miniature of the month is a Saurus Warrior.

Saurus Warriors are the savage backbone of Seraphon armies, spawned for the express purpose of bulldozing enemy formations with a combination of strength and durability. Their tough hides are as effective as wrought armour while heavy clubs and spiked shields make them brutal in a brawl.

These miniatures will be available while stocks last, and they may differ from the one pictured. Ask your local store staff how to claim one.* Saurus come in a wide array of colours, from muted earth tones to kaleidoscopic hues, so you can also take advantage of the in-store Pick ‘n’ Mix paints offer to find your favourite scaly skin tones – simply pick any 10 paints and get the most expensive one free.

Each month you can also get a commemorative coin when you shop in-store, but this one is a bit more special than most. The coin features the campaign badge for Armageddon – as seen on several of the new Space Marine miniatures – and to get one, you’ll need to get your copy of the Warhammer 40,000: Armageddon box set from your local store.

You can either pre-order the box through the in-store order terminal from the 6th of June, or get one straight off the shelves when it releases on the 20th. Whichever way you secure your box – and we recommend the former to make sure – please note that the coins are available only while stocks last.

If you’re already coming down to put an order in for your Armageddon box, or get hold of your miniature of the month, make a day of it and introduce a friend to Warhammer – they’ll get some fun stuff too! They can choose between an Infernus Space Marine and a Stormcast Eternals Liberator to take home, and get both a painting tutorial for their new model and a learn to play session for Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar totally free of charge.
