Our pals at Creative Assembly are marking the 25-year milestone of their Total War series, and as part of their celebrations they had a special announcement for Total War: Warhammer. A certain necromancer has executed a plan years in the making, unlocking untold power…
Coinciding with the 10th year of the Total War: Warhammer series, the Lords of the End Times pack lets four new Legendary Lords loose in the Immortal Empires campaign – arriving summer 2026. As befits his status, Nagash is the first to be revealed, and he’s bringing his Mortarchs with him.

The upcoming Lords of the End Times DLC accompanies the free End Times Update to Total War: Warhammer. This update to the Immortal Empires campaign map takes inspiration from the apocalyptic final chapter of the Warhammer Fantasy Battle story. Cataclysms and catastrophe will rock the World-that-Was as you battle to evade the clutches of Chaos, or accelerate their path to victory – take a look at just how the incoming End Times will affect the map.
The End Times was quite a declarative end to the World-that-Was, however the Lords of the End Times isn’t the final chapter of Total War: Warhammer – the series is far from over, and there are updates still to come.
Speaking of updates, Tides of Torment for Total War: Warhammer III is out today, introducing three new Legendary Lords for the High Elves, Norsca, and Slaanesh factions. You can take command of your armies with Dechala, Sayl, and Aislinn – check them out in action in the release trailer.
That’s not all! The colossal Immortal Empires campaign from Total War: Warhammer III is now free to players of Total War: Warhammer I & II. Immortal Empires combines the maps, factions, and Legendary Lords* from all three games into one epic campaign that presents you with the ultimate challenge – survive and dominate, or be crushed by your enemies.
Players of Total War: Warhammer I & II who also want to unlock the full Total War: Warhammer III experience - including the Realm of Chaos campaign and its ten additional Legendary Lords - can do so with the Warhammer III Upgrade Pack via the Steam and Epic Game Store.
You can check out everything Total War: Warhammer III on the Steam and Epic Games Store pages. That’s a mountain of announcements, but as we said, it’s not the end of the Total War: Warhammer series. You can get all the latest news on the series right here on Warhammer Community. Sign up for the newsletter to make sure you don’t miss anything.
*The number of Legendary Lords and factions each player has access to will depend on individual product ownership.
