The battle for the 500 Worlds of Ultramar is being led by one Captain Demetrian Titus, but such a monumental task cannot be done solo. As Captain of the 2nd Company of the Ultramarines, Titus has amassed a cohort of allies, from fellow Space Marines to human strategists and political minds. We’ll have to see how he gets on in 500 Worlds: Titus, but we’ve got a hunch such a band of brilliance will be ok.
This varied group of followers has provided a selection of community painters with lots of different ways to show off, just like they did with the Nightbringer. Thanks to everyone who took part, whether your efforts made it into the article or not – as usual, we had a deluge of submissions.

First up is the main man himself, Captain Titus. Sporting a fancy-looking cloak with some luxurious fur embellishments, he was predictably the most popular choice for our talented painters to tackle. And how many ways can you paint blue power armour? Quite a few, as it turns out. We’ve got stunning versions from Angelo Di Chello, Luetin, Nicholas Broussard, Maxime Lemoigne, and Christine Coram.
And that’s not even all the depictions of the heroic Captain, as there are a further four beautifully rendered entries from Jose David González Ramos, Marc Büsing, and Vincenzo Celeste.

Ancient Gadriel and Veteran Sergeant Metaurus are also joining their battle brother in the command cadre, adding their loyalty and experience to his expertise. That gave Kieran Wilson, Ben Mudge, and Joshua Mallett a chance to show off how well they can paint power armour.

That provides us with a beautiful segue into the last showcase, which is a collection of humans from the Wardens of Ultramar. Sion Scannell and Quipster both tackled Astropath Dainal Kornelius and Legatus Aemelia Minervas, while Lukas Kuhn also painted the Astropath. Max Cooper of Bearfoot Miniatures painted the whole gang of humans, including Commodore Gaius Silva and Plenipotentiary Lucia Vestha.

A special shoutout to Joshua Hill and Robert Wolfes from Teilzeithelden, who managed to paint up absolutely everything for the Wardens of Ultramar. That’s going to save at least a world or two right off the bat, we reckon.

You can add this whole group of veterans and experts to your own Ultramarines army very soon, as they will be available to pre-order on Saturday alongside the new 500 Worlds: Titus books. Be sure to share your versions of Titus and crew with us on the official Warhammer Instagram page.
