As the renewed Ork assault on Armageddon threatens to collapse Imperial defences for good, a coalition of dozens of Space Marine Chapters launch a daring counterattack known as Operation Imperator – aiming to wrest initiative back into the Imperium’s hands and buy time for reinforcements to arrive. Their deployments are the focus of today’s episode of Loremasters, as well as the spiralling situation that demanded such a drastic response in the first place.
Coming tomorrow: Warhammer Colour Masterclass: Ork Boyz
Finally, there’s never been a better time to brush up on your Ork-painting skills, with loads of them on the way in the model-stuffed Armageddon box set. This episode of Warhammer Colour Masterclass is a full miniature tutorial for the humble Ork Boy, painted in the colours of the Goffs, which can be applied to any other models – from the mighty Warboss to the brain-bursting Weirdboy.

The Warhammer Vault also expands this week, with the arrival of Issue 519 of White Dwarf. As you can tell from the strapping chap on the cover, this issue headed into the Jade Abbey for the first time in Warhammer Quest: Darkwater, while the 41st Millennium thundered to the footfalls of Astra Militarum regiments painted in a wide variety of colours.
