Another 12 months have passed and we’ve been graced by another year of absolutely fantastic miniatures from Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and beyond. Judging from the preview just gone, we’re going to be kicking off 2026 with some awesome new miniatures too, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves – it’s time for you all to join together and vote for your favourite miniatures of the year.
This year we’re also running a competition so that anyone who votes and signs up to our Warhammer newsletter has a chance to win the top miniatures! Read on for more details.

First, a brief overview. Like in 2024, we’ll be splitting the votes into three categories: Warhammer 40,000 (including Kill Team), Warhammer Age of Sigmar (including Warhammer Underworlds), and all the rest – Warhammer: The Horus Heresy, Warhammer: The Old World, Necromunda, and so on.
In the grim darkness of the far future the Aeldari rallied Phoenix Lords and Aspect Warriors as the Death Korps of Krieg prepared their guns and cavalry. Soon after, Fulgrim returned with his legions of sensation-seeking scions, soon followed by Space Wolves, more Leagues of Votann, plus new Space Marine characters and hefty Terminators.

In the close-knit killzones of Kill Team, we got everything from Ratlings and the Wrecka Krew to Deathwatch, Necrons, and T’au Stealth Battlesuits – ensuring that even the smallest battlefields were not safe.
The Gitmobs of the Gloomspite Gitz chased the Glareface Frazzlegit into 2025 with new lupine cavalry, chariots, and the reimagining of the Doom Diver, while the Soulblight Gravelords rose a skeletal host from the dirt and let Prince Vhordrai steal the show with his rotting mount, Shordemaire. To impose some order to proceedings, the Helsmiths of Hashut marched forth from their ziggurats, bringing a brutal new faction to the fore in the Mortal Realms.

More gitz, shadowy aelves, and Khornate scavengers fought for glory in Warhammer Underworlds, alongside more Zharrdron, and even some rarely spotted Kurnothi.
Saturnine armour made a big splash in The Horus Heresy, accompanied by a new edition and plenty of new kits, including plastic Mechanicum forces. The Old World saw a stack of new heroes arrive, as well as the forces of Grand Cathay, who rocked up with giant lanterns, walking statues, and a colossal shapeshifting dragon.

We also can’t forget the gaggle of weirdos and Hangers-on supplied to us by the bustling hive world of Necromunda, the miniature war machines of Legions Imperialis, or two brand new Blood Bowl teams – the Bretonnians and Tomb Kings.

Whatever your favourite game system or faction is, you can vote for what you think the best miniatures of 2025 are by clicking the button below. If you sign up for the Warhammer newsletter – or are already subscribed – you’ll be entered into a draw to win the top miniature from the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer Age of Sigmar categories. There will be 50 winners, and as a special bonus a Grand Prize winner will also win a VIP trip to Warhammer World. The competition will run as long as the poll is open. Terms and conditions apply.
You’ve got until 23:59GMT on Sunday 7th December to submit your vote, and we’ll host the results here on Warhammer Community before New Years. Make sure you get your votes in on time!
