Saturday Pre-orders – Team up and cast out Gelgus Pust in Warhammer Quest: Darkwater

Deep within the Jade Abbey, the Everspring pours forth, a font of life-giving liquid that provides a vital energy for all of Ghyran. Gelgus Pust wants to corrupt and desecrate this place in the name of Nurgle, and it’s up to you and your friends to team up and take him on in Warhammer Quest: Darkwater.

You can also continue your battle against the Grandfather (or even work with him) in a new Path to Glory supplement for Warhammer Age of Sigmar, and enjoy some thrilling tank battle action in a new book from Black Library.

Warhammer Quest: Darkwater

Pick your heroes, grab your friends and family, and journey into the Jade Abbey to defeat the followers of Gelgus Pust in Warhammer Quest: Darkwater. This new version of Warhammer Quest is perfect for one to four players, and thanks to the lay-flat map book each encounter takes just minutes to set up, whether you’re playing a single one-off skirmish or embarking on a longer campaign. Darkwater is designed to be accessible and extremely replayable, with dozens of encounters and events in each of the game’s increasingly difficult three acts, plus stacks of loot and unlockable heroes to experiment with.

The box includes 49 highly detailed, push fit miniatures. These include the band of seven heroes and the spirit Wisper, plus villains Gelgus Pust, Belga the Cystwitch, Mulgoth the Cleaver, and Shaman Foulhoof. There is also a horde of enemies that comprises two Cankerborn, three Blight Templars, eight Pestigors, 14 Pox-Wretches, six Mire Kelpies, and four additional tokens. Everything else you need to play, from the lay-flat map book to cards, tokens, and dice, are also included. Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is a range item, and if it proves as popular as life-giving Aqua Ghyranis and sells out you can expect it to return to shelves in time.

Path to Glory: Blighted Wilds

Battle to corrupt or cleanse Thyria in the Realm of Life with this new narrative campaign book for Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Path to Glory: Blighted Wilds is a 90-page hardback book containing a new Blighted Wilds battlepack with themed rules, battle scars, battleplans, two Paths for heroes, two Paths for units, universal enhancements, spell and prayer lores, and rules for how to run a whole campaign.

There are also rules for building a Landmark of Ghyran, a faction terrain piece with custom abilities that match your armies. You can also design your very own Regiment of Ghyran, a custom Regiment of Renown that can be given unique abilities and idiosyncrasies.

Demolisher

Hadeya Etsul and the crew of the Leman Russ Demolisher Steel Tread are assigned to a convoy tasked with escorting a commissar through contested territory. Not only is an enemy stalking from afar, but a new crew member is causing problems with the hard-won synergy of the crew. The follow-on from Andy Clark’s Steel Tread, Demolisher continues the story of the campaign on the Warp-cursed world of Croatoas.

Demolisher is available to pre-order in a gorgeous special edition, which features the short story ‘Worry What Is’ and an introduction by the author, screen-printed art on a cloth cover that matches the cover design of the special edition of Steel Tread, a brown ribbon page marker, and foil page edges. This edition is only available while stocks last.

You can also pre-order Demolisher in a standard hardback format, or in digital eBook or audiobook formats, depending on your preference.

The Rise of Nagash

Nagash is one of the most infamous figures in the vast history of Warhammer – the first necromancer, an ingenious sorcerer who stole the secrets of dark magic from the elves and turned it to his own ends. He toppled the armies of Nehekhara, raised the largest army of undead ever seen, and eventually attained the status of immortal god. The Rise of Nagash collects together three novels and a short story by Mike Lee, which trace the history of the Supreme Lord of Undeath. It’s also available in eBook format.
