Embrace Chaos with March’s Miniature of the Month and score two commemorative coins

Every month you can visit your local Warhammer store to collect a miniature of the month for free, and with both the Call to Arms campaign and the 1 Million Miniatures challenge underway, it’s a great time to stop by. From the 7th of March, we’re getting back to our feral roots with the murderous Darkoath, and you can grab one of their savage Marauders in-store.

Drawn from the myriad tribes that populate the Mortal Realms beyond the walls of civilisation, the Darkoath are skilled warriors who pledge themselves to the service of the Chaos Gods in many forms. Each swears an oath before battle in the hope of attracting their patron’s attention, with victory granting great power and failure putting them at the mercy of their malevolent deities.

These miniatures will be available while stocks last, and they may differ from the one pictured. Ask your local store staff how to claim one.* You can also take advantage of the in-store Pick ‘n’ Mix paints offer to get your Darkoath Marauder dressed up ready for battle, or coated in blood from their most recent slaughter – the choice is yours, simply pick any 10 paints and get the most expensive one free.

If you’ve pledged towards the 1 Million Miniatures challenge, it’s the perfect time to stock up on supplies, and finishing your Marauder means one more for the tally!

With the Ossiarch Bonereapers recently embarking on a new foray from the Realm of Death, you can commemorate their advance with a collectable coin featuring the emblem of Shyish. They’re also available from the 7th of March, while stocks last, so ask in-store to find out how to get one.

That’s not the only coin you can get this month, though – from the 28th of March, there’s an entirely different, Black Library one to add to your collection, tying in with the upcoming Black Library Celebration.

If you’re already coming down to get your coin(s) and miniature, make a day of it and introduce a friend to Warhammer – they’ll get some fun stuff too! They can choose between an Infernus Space Marine and a Stormcast Eternals Liberator to take home, get a painting tutorial for their new model, and learn how to play their first game of Warhammer 40,000 or Warhammer Age of Sigmar.

Better yet, if they pick up one of the starter sets, Combat Patrols, or Spearhead boxes, you’ll get progress towards your next Call to Arms sticker and earn awesome rewards.

The person you bring along can also get involved with the Battle Honours programme, which rewards them for diving into a series of fun activities based around the key areas of the Warhammer hobby – Collect, Build, Paint, Play, and Read.

Lastly, before we go, we have some new store openings to celebrate! Warhammer fans in Kyoto, Japan, can now head down to a new store that opened just a few days ago. Meanwhile residents of Woodbridge, Virginia, can look forward to their own store opening on the 21st of March, and those in St Anthony, Minnesota, will have a new store on the 28th of March.

* One miniature per person. To claim your miniatures in Australia, Europe, New Zealand, and the UK, you will need to assemble them in-store. Our staff are there to help you do just that!
