Sunday Preview – Festive squig clothing returns!

It’s a quiet week for releases as we’re in the run up to Christmas, which means there are no major pre-orders next weekend.

Warhammer Quest: Darkwater is still available to pre-order right now, and there’s still time for some regions to get their gift orders in. If you’re not sure what to buy, you can check out the Holiday Gift Guide which also has lots of Red Gobbo themed activities. If you’re shopping online, the Warhammer webstore has a handy gift section too. There are a couple of things available to order soon though – check them out below.

Squig Slipper Socks and Squig Mega Hoodie

Wrap up warm this winter and look awesome doing so with the return of the beloved Squig Slipper Socks and Squig Mega Hoodie. These cozy clothing items proved extremely popular, because people just love squigs, and so we’re bringing them back. They’re going straight to sale on the 13th of December – don’t miss this second chance to get yours.

Death World

The Catachan Jungle Fighters are veteran warriors, well-versed in combat on some of the most dangerous worlds across the galaxy. So, being sent to Rogar III to battle orks seems to be nothing out of the ordinary… but Rogar III is the deadliest and most unpredictable battlefield they’ve seen by far, and something stalks the Imperial forces from the shadows. The classic novel Death World by Steve Lyons is available to pre-order in MP3 audiobook format on Friday next week.

With Warhammer Quest: Darkwater arriving in people’s hands very soon, what better way to check out how it’s played than in a new episode of Questing Nights? Our gang have enlisted the help of one of the Warhammer Quest rules designers in their battle against the vile Shaman Foulhoof – will they survive his foetid onslaught?

Painting Desk also returns, with Ed speaking to ’Eavy Metal painter and multiple Golden Demon trophy winner Robin about painting miniatures to a competition standard, and what he’s learned over many years of display painting. On Deep Strike, Alex chats with Sarah and Wade from the Warhammer Studio about the Pariah Nexus animation, diving into the story and picking out a few things you may not have noticed.

On Warhammer Community, we’ll be continuing with the Grotmas calendar alongside the rest of your regularly scheduled content.

And finally, the winner of our 50 Years of Warhammer competition has been drawn. The winner is A. Baxendale from Coventry, England. Congrats!
