Another crop of awesome events is heading to Warhammer World here in sunny (hah!) Nottingham, with three weekend tournaments and two extra weekday clashes happening throughout May. Not one, but two Grand Tournaments, and if you fancy something a little sooner, we’ve got priority intel on a special March for Macragge painting competition happening in March!

Prove yourself as the greatest general in all the Mortal Realms at the Warhammer Age of Sigmar Grand Tournament. You’ll need a 2,000-point army, the latest General’s Handbook, and finely honed strategic wits to compete in five games over two days. You’ll be playing for awards including best general, favourite army, best painted, and favourite opponent, as well as the prestigious top placings.
This event takes place on the 9th and 10th of May.

Muster your best 2,000-point Grand Melee army and head to Warhammer World to prove your dominance over five Matched Play games of Warhammer: The Old World with like-minded hobbyists. This epic tournament is the premier stage to show off your strategic skills, taking place over two days of fun and friendly – yet competitive – Old World action. As usual, awards will be given out for painting, game performance, and sporting conduct, so play your best and make sure to have a good time! Lunch will be provided on both days.
This event takes place on the 23rd and 24th of May.

The greatest Blood Bowl tournament in Warhammer World history returns! Get ready for big hits, big scores, and big fun with the Full Beard Cup, where you'll play five games over two days of bone-crunching Blood Bowl action with lunches included, plus free access to the exhibition hall. Awards will be granted for coaching, painting, and sporting conduct.
This event takes place on the 30th and 31st of May.

Sharpen your blades and prepare to hew your way through the deadly carnivorous jungles of Ghur as you marshal your Warcry warbands and Return to the Gnarlwood in a weekday Warhammer event which pits players against each other in vicious skirmish games. Fight your way to the top across four thrilling games, and earn points for painting and sportsmanship prizes that will be awarded in addition to the overall winner.
This event takes place on the 6th of May.

Looking for some fast-paced Warhammer Age of Sigmar action? The Spearhead Sand and Bone event condenses all the fun into the swift and strategic Spearhead format, and you’ll play three games over the course of one day, with awards for performance, painting, and sportsmanship.
This event takes place on the 20th of May.

The Ultramarines have had a good showing lately with Captain Titus campaigning in the 500 Worlds, which makes this a very special March for Macragge. To celebrate, we’re holding a painting competition at Warhammer World on the 21st of March, where you can bring your best Space Marine Character miniature – painted in whatever colours you like, Ultramarines not required! – and be judged for a bronze, silver, or gold medal.
Of course, this is the March for Macragge Legends Painting Competition, so there’ll be a Special Award for the best Ultramarines on display, but all are welcome! It’s a great chance to meet your fellow Captains and Chapter Masters, share some tips and tricks, and bond over your love of the Adeptus Astartes. Courage and Honour!
