Vengeful tree spirits and vicious murder aelves lead this week’s pre-orders. As well as new miniatures, rules, and accessories, we’ve also got some fantastic fiction from the Mortal Realms – let’s take a look.

Bathe the Mortal Realms in blood as you worship your deity through acts of ritual combat (but not in a Khorne-worshipping, Chaos way – more in a Khaine-worshipping, Sigmar-approved way). The Daughters of Khaine battletome features new battle traits and ways to play, along with lore, background, and suitably blood-soaked artwork.
The Gamer’s Edition is a smaller format battletome – making it easier to carry to battle – and comes with a set of 44 warscroll cards, covering unit profiles, battle traits, rules of renown, and more, but is only available while stocks last.
Blood Hags
Being chosen as a Blood Hag is a great martial honour, and only those warriors who display selfless loyalty to the Khainite creed are selected. They excel in spilling blood at close range – which is handy, as part of their remit is to ensure the various cauldrons of Khaine never run dry. The kit builds 10 elite aelves, and includes parts to build a champion and an optional banner bearer.
Shrine of Dark Tribute
The Blood Hags, and the rest of the Daughters of Khaine, have a new place to worship in the shape of the Shrine of Dark Tribute. This imposing terrain piece channels your blood magic rituals, and you can dedicate it to either Morathi or Morai-Heg and her servant, the Croneseer.
Melusai Ironscale
Melusai Ironscales are some of the most aggressive of all Scáthborn, bringing down swift vengeance upon enemies that slay other Daughters of Khaine units. They are ready to slither across the battlefield to continue their holy slaughter.
Spearhead: Khainite Shadow Coven
Led by three Heroes – a Slaughter Queen, Hag Queen, and Bloodwrack Medusa – this Daughters of Khaine Spearhead races across the battlefield to spill blood in the name of Morathi-Khaine. Each Hero brings their own special skills to bear, and the Cauldron of Blood is one of the largest miniatures that can be used in the Spearhead format. In its shade, the Shadowstalkers and Sisters of Slaughter use their speed and skill to make opponents look lumbering and clumsy, easily cutting them down in melee.
Battleforce: Scáthborn Coven*
Easily start a new Daughters of Khaine army with the Scáthborn Coven battleforce. The goddess Morathi-Khaine is a mighty wizard, who uses her mastery of blood magics to prove her claim to be the reincarnation of Khaine. Alongside her is the powerful Shadow Queen, accompanied by five Khinerai Heartrenders (who can alternatively be built as Lifetakers), and 10 Blood Sisters (who can alternatively be built as Blood Stalkers). These miniatures are ideal as the basis for a Zainthar Kai Army of Renown. The boxed set is only available while stocks last.
Regiment of Renown: The Crimson Lash
Add some murder aelves into your Grand Alliance Order army with the Crimson Lash Regiment of Renown. This (in)famous troupe of a High Gladiatrix and 10 Sisters of Slaughter travel across the Mortal Realms, demonstrating the skills they’ve learned in the Khainite fighting pits. They are fast and hard-hitting, and once you nominate an objective as an amphitheatre, they excel at keeping it clear of enemy warriors. This kit is only available while stocks last.
Battletome: Sylvaneth
Fight back against those who would despoil and desecrate nature. Join the children of Alarielle in their defence of the Jade Realm with Battletome: Sylvaneth. Along with updated rules for using your miniatures in games, it features in-depth background lore and glorious artwork.
Grab a smaller format battletome and a set of 48 warscroll cards – covering unit profiles, Spearhead rules, and more – with the Gamer’s Edition, which is only available while stocks last.
Grove Guardian
Grove Guardians are responsible for nurturing new Sylvaneth life in the sacred soulpod groves. Each tends to a sapling taken from the Oak of Ages Past, and woe betide any enemy that gets too close to this ‘genesis tree’, as the Grove Guardian will mercilessly cut down interlopers using a deadly sickle or vicious shears.
Branchwych
While the Grove Guardian is a Priest, chanting prayers to inspire your warriors, the Branchwych is a Wizard – imbued with the power of life magics, allowing you to cast spells from the Lore of the Deepwood. The Branchwych is ready to spread its merciless anger across the Mortal Realms, cutting down trespassers with a vicious scythe.
Spearhead: Spitewing Flight
Swoop down on anyone who threatens your woodland realm with the Sylvaneth Spitewing Flight Spearhead. Consisting of an Arch-Revenant, Spiterider Lancers, Revenant Seekers, and Gossamid Archers, all of the warriors can Fly, giving unparalleled manoeuvrability to easily grab objectives. When they sing their Song of the Hunt, no quarry is safe.
Battleforce: Strongroot Grove
The Lords of the Clan Army of Renown is based around Treelords and Kurnothi, meaning the Strongroot Grove battleforce is an ideal way to nurture such a host. It features six Kurnoth Hunters, who can each be armed with a greatsword, greatbow, or greatscythe, and three Treelords, who can each be alternatively built as a Treelord Ancient or Spirit of Durthu. This flexible boxed set saves you money compared to buying the kits individually, and is only available while stocks last.
Regiments of Renown: The Twisted Branch
Want to add some treeple** into your Grand Alliance Order army? The Twisted Branch marches out from the Gnarlwood, and is a great way to increase an existing army with fresh tactical options, or to try out a new painting scheme. This Regiment of Renown features a Branchwych and eight Twistweald miniatures, and is available while stocks last.
Warscroll Cards and Dice
Both armies come with themed accessories. Easily keep track of your army rules and in-game abilities, including unit profiles, battle traits, and more, with warscroll cards – there are 31 in the Daughters of Khaine pack and 37 in the Sylvaneth one. You can also roll your way to victory with dice blessed by the Shadow Queen or the Everqueen*** – each set includes 16 dice. These warscroll cards and dice are only available while stocks last.

Fans of aelf assassins will be pleased to hear that Shade of Khaine is now available to pre-order in paperback format. Set after her adventures with the legendary Gotrek, Maleneth Witchblade now finds herself being hunted by the Order of Azyr. Seeking sanctuary in Nightcliff, the City of Echoes, she discovers a conspiracy that could threaten the entire Realm of Shadow.
Queen of the Rose Throne
In Aqshy, Nyssa Volari finds her empire under threat from an army of beasts. Can the vampire queen confront the ghosts from her past and claim dominion over both the living and the dead? Find out in Queen of the Rose Throne, now available to pre-order in paperback.
