Sunday Preview – A brief pause ahead of Christmas

We’re halfway through December now, which means that the festive holidays are coming up, and Christmas is descending on Warhammer World. As such, there’s nothing new available for pre-order next week. Yesterday, Warhammer Quest: Darkwater arrived in stores around the world, so you can pick up your copy in person if you’re looking to team up and take down Gelgus Pust over the holidays.

The final Christmas shipping deadlines have passed for most places, but there are a handful of territories where you’ve still got a bit of time left – check out the webstore gift guide for ideas. If you still need a last minute present, you can always get your loved ones a virtual gift voucher, or head down to your local Warhammer store in person (use the store finder to find your nearest one). If you’re stuck for ideas of what to buy when you get there, you can also check out our festive gift guide, which is packed with fun activities too.

Neave and her comrades are wandering the nightmarish corridors of Harrowdeep, as its flickerings shadows cause the seeds of doubt to bloom in the Stormcast Eternals. Scrap Demon returns as Ed tasks four guests with building a ‘Big Killa Robot’ from a pile of sprues, and throws in a few challenges along the way.

On Loremasters Alex is exploring the path of the Dire Avenger in a deep dive into these stalwart Aspect Warriors, and on How We Roll Si sits down with one of the designers behind Warhammer Quest: Darkwater for a chat on the design philosophy behind the game.

Next week on Warhammer Community, the Grotmas Calendar continues with more fiction and rules.
