We’ve seen a lot of very cool Terminators released this year, including the Wolf Guard Terminators and the Saturnine Terminators – you can even vote for your favourites on our Miniatures of the Year 2025 poll – and it just so happens that 2026 is going to kick off with some more Tactical Dreadnought armour. The Siege Assault Battle Group for The Horus Heresy is on the way, backed up by a Print on Demand release of four Gaunt’s Ghosts books.

Siege Assault Battle Group*

All throughout the Horus Heresy, the Space Marine Legions were required to attack and take down enemy fortifications, frequently built and maintained by their former brothers in arms. The Siege Assault Battle Group brings together 23 miniatures that excel in cracking fortresses and bunkers, and fighting in the remaining rubble.
This is the first time you can get hold of the new Cataphractii Terminators, which are delivered in two sets of six. These heavily armoured suits of Tactical Dreadnought Armour, equipped with extra shield generators, make their Space Marine wearers slow but nigh-on unstoppable as they advance. One set of six are armed with volkite chargers and power mauls, with options for a Cataphractii Terminator Sergeant – power sword, power axe, thunder hammer, multiple crest options or grenade harness – while one Terminator can be armed with a reaper autocannon. The other set of six are armed with combi-bolters and power fists, with the same options as above to mark out your Sergeant, and the choice to equip one miniature with a chainfist, and one with a heavy flamer.

The box also contains 10 Breacher Squad Space Marines, made by combining 10 MkIII Legionaries with a brand new Breacher Squad upgrade frame, which contains the following options:
10 boarding shields
10 helmeted heads
Two Breacher Sergeant heads (one helmeted, one bare)
One breacher charge
One lascutter
One graviton gun
10 bolters
10 left arms
10 right arms
10 left hands (boarding shield attachment)
A mighty Leviathan Siege Dreadnought rounds things out, armed with a brutal siege claw and siege drill, which will make short work of even the toughest fortifications and mobile armour, let alone any poor Space Marines who get in the way. This box also contains three Legion infantry transfer sheets containing 618 decals each, and a Legiones Astartes Dreadnought transfer sheet with 528 decals. The box is available while stocks last*, and the Breacher Squad and Cataphractii Terminators will be available as individual releases at a later date.

Made to Order Terrain
A set of Made to Order terrain is also available to order on the 25th of December. You’ll get your pick of a Generatorum Hub, Galvanic Magnavent, Transterranic Gantries, a Tectonic Fragdrill, a pair of Haemotrope Reactors, two Macroplasma Batteries, a set of Galvanic Servohaulers, and a set of Mechasite Minoris scatter terrain, which you can use to help decorate a battlefield or perhaps to create a display board for yourself.
These Made to Order products will go on sale on Thursday the 25th of December, until Monday the 12th of January 2026 at 8:00am GMT. Production and shipping of these items can take up to 180 days.

On Boxing Day (that’s the 26th of December for those that do not observe – it’s also got nothing to do with punching) you’ll be able to head into your local Warhammer store to buy both The Steel Rook and The Hunter Strikes, two commemorative miniatures that have previously only been sold at events. They will be available while stocks last, but don’t worry if you miss out - they will also be available to order online from the 17th of January**.

Gaunt’s Ghosts Print on Demand

Colonel-Commissar Ibram Gaunt and the Tanith First and Only have suffered through and triumphed over their fair share of trials and challenges, You can read some of these as the four most recent novels of Dan Abnett’s widely celebrated Gaunt’s Ghosts series are being made available as print on demand hardback books. Blood Pact, Salvation’s Reach, The Warmaster, and Anarch are all available individually. As Print on Demand books, they will be available to order from Saturday the 27th December until 8am on Monday the 12th January. Production and delivery can take up to 120 days.

Those with a Warhammer+ subscription will also be able to tune in and watch new episodes of three shows next week. On Scribes and Scriveners, Alex had so much to talk about with Black Library author John French that we made a second interview, and in this one he discusses writing the Cado Ezechiar series, and the creation of this compelling character.

On Armies of Renown, Ed takes a look at a Cities of Sigmar army that has been 30 years in the making, as Rich talks the humble beginnings of his collection with HeroQuest, through Warhammer Fantasy Battle, and right into the modern day of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. Finally, on Battle Report, Gotrek and an army of furious Fyreslayers do battle with Gordrakk, the Fist of Gork, and a pugnacious Ironjawz Waaagh! – it’s a rivalry that’s transcended even the death of a world, so it’s sure to be a brutal brawl.
On Warhammer Community next week, the Grotmas Calendar continues, we’re revealing another upcoming Made to Order, and there might even be something special under the tree on Christmas day… You’ll just have to wait and see. We hope you continue to enjoy your holidays!
* This product is delayed in Australia and New Zealand
** Note that this is a week later than we’d previously advertised, but that’s so that we can make this product Made To Order. If you place the order online by Monday 26th January at 8am GMT, you’ll definitely get one!
