Armies on Parade 2025 – The clock is ticking for submissions

Armies on Parade 2025 is on its way. You can already submit your in-store entries by speaking to your local Warhammer manager, and celebrations are starting properly in October.

The online awards ceremony – to be judged by our panel of Warhammer experts – is planned for November, and submissions are opening soon.

Back in April we showed off the progress we’ve made on our own Armies on Parade entry and… well, we’ve not done much since then! It’s been a busy year. We’ve launched Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and tackled all sorts of other painting projects along the way, and so our entry has been getting less attention than we’d planned.

But that’s not a reason for panic! Unplanned delays are just part and parcel of every project – especially group ones. It’s important to take stock, and reassess your plans if things go awry. Armies on Parade might be a competition with prizes and certificates, but at the end of the day just completing a project and sharing it with others is enough.

The board is causing us some trouble, as we’re currently all scattered to the winds and we’ll need our miniatures finished before we can start work on the display. Our grand plans for a cool tiered board might need to be reined in, but we’ve got other ideas in the bank if we change our minds.

Nevertheless, we’re going to knuckle down and get it all finished. Share your own progress with us on the official Warhammer Facebook and Instagram pages, and if you’re still struggling with certain elements don’t forget we’ve got a playlist of useful tips for inspiration.
