There is no more iconic duo in Warhammer than vampire lords and their skeletal minions – we will not be hearing objections to this – and both get a proper spruce-up in this week’s slate of pre-orders. The Soulblight Gravelords hit the Mortal Realms with a new battletome, Spearhead, and more, while a new Warhammer Underworlds warband emerges from the shadows and Black Library drops both new and returning novels.

Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords
If you’re going to be cursed with everlasting life as a blood-hungry aristocrat who has a penchant for bats, you might as well share your misery with others – preferably on the battlefield, where your newfound strength and magical prowess can really flex. Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords gives you that chance, with new background lore, art, and miniatures galleries covering the rise of the skeletal Barrow Kingdoms, the Soulblight curse, and plenty more.
Inside you’ll find all the warscrolls, battle traits, artefacts, spells, and manifestations you need to really spite the living on the tabletop. It also contains rules for a new skeletal Spearhead, Regiments of Renown, and two Armies of Renown – with one specially focused on the Barrow Kingdoms – plus a whole section for Path to Glory narrative campaigns, so you can watch your bloodthirsty little guys grow into true champions of Nagash.
Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords (Gamer’s Edition)
Want all of that in a smaller format that’s easier to reference in the middle of a particularly gruelling game? The Gamer’s Edition of Battletome: Soulblight Gravelords is what you’re looking for – containing everything found in the full-size battletome but shrunk down into a convenient little package. Better still, it also comes with a set of handy reference cards for your army. It’s only available while stocks last.
Prince Vhordrai, Lord of the Crimson Keep
Blood Knights are some of Nagash’s most ruthless and effective servants, which goes to show how frightening Prince Vhordrai must be to lord over them all. He strikes out from his supernatural fortress atop a profane undead Draconith, butchering scores of mortal men with a combination of quicksilver swordplay and devastating death magic.
This kit can instead build a Revenant Draconith without a rider – a fearsome undead beast that can be used in most Grand Alliance Death armies thanks to new Regiment of Renown rules.
Blades of the Hollow King
The star of Black Library novels The Hollow King and The Dead Kingdom returns to the tabletop for his second plastic incarnation, in the Blades of the Hollow King. This set of three stylishly posed miniatures contains Cado Ezechiar himself, the vampiric assassin Sissendra, and the necromancer Aurelias, and can be used both in a Soulblight Gravelords army and in other Death forces thanks to new Regiment of Renown rules.
Vampire Lord on Nightmare Steed
Mounted Vampire Lords are often found ploughing through ranks of lesser beings at the head of a devastating Blood Knight charge, and this chap is no exception – whether equipped with an axe or a sword. This miniature can be assembled with either weapon, and has a choice of three different heads for the vampire and two for their steed.
Wight King on Skeletal Steed
Rulers who once pledged their souls to Nagash rather than let their ancestral lands slip through their bony hands, Wight Kings are powerful undead lords who raise entire legions of Deathrattle Skeletons to conquer the lands of the living. This kit can be assembled as either a Wight King or a lesser Wight Lord, each riding a sombre Skeletal Steed.
Barrow Knights
Once honourable knights lancing foes from atop gleaming armoured steeds, the lesser nobles of the Barrow Kingdoms are now reduced to animated skeletons in corroded plate – though they’re no less deadly on the charge. This set of five Barrow Knights comes with options for a champion, musician, and standard bearer to lead the unit, and has interchangeable shields and heads so you can customise your clattering cavalry.
Barrow Guard
Not all freshly raised skeletons are simple shambling constructs, as the worm-stripped corpses of elite warriors still retain a measure of their skill and valour in death. This box contains 10 Barrow Guard that can be built with swords and shields or heavy two-handed glaives, with interchangeable heads and options for two champions, banner bearers, and musicians.
Deathrattle Skeletons
It is a rare Soulblight Gravelords assault that is not carried upon the shoulders of the Deathrattle Skeletons – the innumerable hordes of risen cadavers torn from their graves by necromancers to fight and die once more for their lord. This kit contains 20 brand new miniatures with a wealth of interchangeable parts, including options for swords, spears, and shields, two champions and two standard bearers, plus four cosmetic tombstones to add some chilling flair to your bases.
Soulblight Gravelords: Manifestations
Channel the raw power of Shyish with the first ever manifestation designed specifically for Soulblight Gravelords armies, giving them some serious magical power on the battlefield. This set contains the Hand of Nagash, the Unholy Reliquary, and the Sanguine Swarm.
Cursed Sepulchre
The Mortal Realms are littered with the tombs and mausoleums of its many, many dead champions, and these Cursed Sepulchres often attract the attention of vampires and necromancers looking to bolster their undead forces and empower their spellcasting. This set contains three such buildings, with loads of optional cosmetic parts, to use as faction terrain in Warhammer Age of Sigmar – and can also be built as a ghostly Nexus of Grief for Nighthaunt armies, whose unique rules can be found on the Warhammer Community Downloads page soon.
Spearhead: Bloodcrave Hunt
Elite Blood Knights are the vanguard of this brand new Spearhead force, collecting five powerful knights with three flying Vargheists and a mighty Vampire Lord. This stunningly lethal core is augmented by 20 new Deathrattle Skeletons, whose numbers and undead resilience keep the enemy in place while the lord and their knights swoop in to feed.
Soulblight Gravelords Dice
Raise your own knucklebones with a set of 16 Soulblight Gravelords dice, cast in black plastic with red ink pips and the faction symbol of the Soulblight Gravelords on the six face.

Knives of the Crone
Not all of the Daughters of Khaine worship the tyrannical Morathi as their one and only god. Some observe the tenets of the crone seer Morai-Heg in secret – far from the eyes of their jealous Shadow Queen. This new Mastery warband is one such band, led by the seer Kaerna Vix and containing the warriors Krieta, Tazari, and Azphel, who use mystical Rituals of Prophecy to empower their attacks and manipulate your deck.
Realmstone Raiders Rivals Deck
Customise your own warbands with the Realmstone Raiders Rivals Deck, a new Mastery deck that harnesses the power of emberstone for a wide variety of powerful effects. This deck of 32 cards introduces the new Raid ability, which lets you manipulate your Power deck and enhance your fighters after attacking your foes, building momentum through combat and ultimately sweeping to victory.

White Dwarf 512
Virulent contagions seep from White Dwarf Issue 512 as the Death Guard claim dominion over its pages with an extensive section of background lore and miniatures galleries, plus rules for a new Combat Patrol. The White Dwarf Bunker goes Kill Team mad as the studio league enters its first round, and the screenwriters of the The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim™ movie sit down for a chat about Middle-earth, models, and heroic showdowns.
Plus, a new five-part serial by James Brogden begins with The Trials of Albarak, shining the spotlight on the tenacious duardin, while Golden Demon winner Roman Lappat talks us through his fascinating 3D portraits made using Warhammer miniatures.*
