Next weekend, the Legio Custodes head the pre-order. The impressive new infantry miniatures are flanked by their iconic grav-tanks and decorated Dreadnoughts, while more super-heavy Space Marine vehicles also roll off the assembly line and Made to Order Orcs gather on the fringes of the Old World.

Liber Custodes: The Forces of the Emperor Army Book

Get all of your Custodians onto the battlefield and slaying in the Emperor’s name with Liber Custodes, the essential companion to the faction packed with background lore, army rules, and unit profiles for the Legio Custodes, Anathema Psykana, and Divisio Assassinorum. This 120-page hardback book includes rules for fielding entire armies of Legio Custodes troops, and can be used to add smaller contingents of these supernal warriors to other Loyalist armies as Allies.
Glaive Super-heavy Special Weapons Tank

Built on the same frame as the workhorse Fellblade tank, the Glaive is a rare variant that mounts a gigantic volkite carronade to reduce entire squads of hardened troops to scorched ash. This immense gun burns right through power armour like it isn’t there, making the Glaive a terror to massed deployments of the Legiones Astartes – Loyalist or Traitor.
This kit comes with the option to swap the Sponson Mounted lascannon arrays with laser destroyers or gravis heavy bolter batteries, plus a Legiones Astartes Super-heavy Vehicle transfer sheet that contains 718 transfers.
Journal Tactica – Mailed Fist: Legiones Astartes Super-heavy Tanks

Field armies of rumbling tanks and learn all about the development of the Legiones Astartes’ mighty super-heavies in Mailed Fist, the latest Journal Tactica for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. This 48-page softback book includes loads of background lore, new unit profiles, and the epic Leviathan Missions – game rules that let you play massive asymmetrical games featuring armoured warfare and multiplayer mayhem galore.

Made to Order Classic Orc and Goblin Tribes
More metal miniatures from Warhammer of decades past return as limited-time Made to Order releases, so you can add some nostalgic charm to your Warhammer: The Old World armies. A Black Orc Bigboss heads up the lot with a pair of wicked hand weapons, joined by a Black Orc Command set including a champion, musician, and standard bearer.
You can also get a pack of five Black Orcs for them to fight alongside; a three-model Orc Boyz Command team with musician, champion, and standard bearer; a unit of 10 Orc Boyz with a variety of weapons; and a Goblin Rock Lobber with three crew to add artillery support. All of these miniatures are cast in metal, with the exception of plastic shields on several of the models.
As with all Made to Order products, these models can be ordered straight away on Saturday – until Monday 30th March – and may take up to 180 days to arrive.
Warhammer Colour Tools Set

Get into building Warhammer quickly and easily with a set of Warhammer Colour beginner-level tools, perfect for the budding hobbyist or as a gift for a friend just starting their first miniatures. This set contains one pair of Starter Clippers and one Starter Mouldline Scraper, so you can get your parts off their frames and smooth out any little imperfections before glueing them all together.
Warhammer Dice Set

Just picked up a new Combat Patrol or Spearhead, and need a few extra dice to start playing Warhammer with? This pack of 20 bone-coloured dice is exactly what you need, with simple black pips and a properly Warhammer-esque skull on the six face.
Warhammer Colour Painting Handle

Hold your miniatures steady for tricky close-up painting jobs with the new Warhammer Colour Painting Handle, a simplified and sturdy version of the classic spring-loaded painting handle* that securely holds miniature bases from 25mm wide up to 40mm wide with friction alone. This lightweight plastic tool is a great budget alternative when you have loads of miniatures to paint, and has a slot for a Sub-assembly Holder so you can paint tiny parts just as easily.

This week on Warhammer+, Battle Report finds out who the best ‘big burly warriors in heavy plate armour’ are when the Stormcast Eternals and Maggotkin of Nurgle throw down for the ultimate crown, while Loremasters brokers passage with the piratical Red Corsairs and Ultimate Paint-off shows you how to get the most out of possibly the greatest technique in all of miniature painting: drybrushing.

Here at Warhammer Community, we’re gearing up for the release of the new Custodians by looking at ways to ally them into existing Horus Heresy armies and checking out some painted examples from our hobby community.
Also, we’re revealing something really really cool tomorrow… Can you guess what it might be?
* The older Citadel Colour Painting Handle will continue as part of the range alongside the new one.
