Saturday pre-orders – Reclaim Armageddon with Commissar Yarrick

The battle for Armageddon continues this week as reinforcements for the Astra Militarum, Orks, Adepta Sororitas, and Imperial Agents enter the meatgrinder. See what’s available for pre-order.

Commissar Yarrick

The legend is back! Commissar Yarrick has been fixed up by the Space Wolves (“fixed up” being a relative term for a warrior with such a glorious track record) and is ready to take the fight to the Orks on Armageddon – inspire your forces to greater feats and brutally cut any enemy in half with a mighty power klaw.

Commissar Graves

Yarrick isn’t the only Commissar on Armageddon – the aggressive Commissar Graves is fighting out in the ruins of Hive Thoraddis. Graves can either engage in combat from atop her modified Centaur RSV, Vigilance, or on foot – however she does battle, she is followed with absolute dedication by her troops.

Wazdakka Gutsmek

The legendary Wazdakka Gutsmek unleashes his Speedwaaagh! mounted astride his kustom warbike, Big Revva. He’s fast, he hits hard, and his little Grot pal, Fixit, ensures he just keeps on going. Stick him at the front of a mob of Warbikers and watch them smash through Imperial lines.

Intranzia Fraye – Dogmata Superior

Reinforcements have also arrived for the Adepta Sororitas in the form of Intranzia Fraye. Striding into battle on a mobile pulpit, the Throne of Blame, she blasts the enemy to pieces with the devastating weaponry built into the walking war machine. In battle, she judges the unworthy and delivers her sentence with the Mace of Saint Praxedes.

Inquisitor Kroyle

Inquisitor Kroyle is a radical member of the Ordo Xenos who specialises in hunting the largest of alien prey. He rides his Garralisk steed into the best firing positions, from which he can pick off targets with his Jindarii tox-cycler.

Armageddon Battalion: Astra Militarum

The Astra Militarum Armageddon Battalion is the first place to get your hands on the new Hippogriff AFV and Centaur RSV vehicles. This boxed set includes a pair of Hippogriffs, a Centaur, a Rogal Dorn tank, and 10 Cadian Shock Troops. It’s a great way to build the core of an Armoured Infantry Detachment, which can be found in the Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick expansion.

Armageddon Battalion: Orks

The Orks also get new Detachments, including the Speedwaaagh!, and Armageddon Battalion: Orks is ideal for when your Boyz want to angrily hit the accelerator. The Deffkilla Wartrike does serious damage in close combat, while the Rukkatrukk Squigbuggy and six Deffkoptas provide mobile firepower.

Armageddon Battalion: Deathwatch

There are a LOT of Orks on Armageddon – who better to call in to take care of them than the galaxy’s premier alien hunters, the Deathwatch? Their Armageddon Battalion features 10 Aquila Kill Team veterans – who come with a variety of weapon and cosmetic options – and a Corvus Blackstar to drop them deep behind enemy lines and provide them with covering fire.

Armageddon Battalion: Adepta Sororitas

A Palatine leads a Sisters Novitiate squad, a Repentia squad, and three Paragon Warsuits in the Adepta Sororitas Armageddon battalion. These zealous warriors are an ideal start to a new army or an easy way to grow an existing force, offering Intranzia Fraye support as she ensures Armageddon stays in the hands of the Imperium.

The four Armageddon Battalion boxed sets are only available while stocks last.

Armageddon: The Return Of Yarrick

The ongoing battles intensify in Armageddon: The Return of Yarrick. This Warhammer 40,000 expansion is packed with lore, focusing on Old Bale Eye and his attempts to hold back the Speedwaaagh! of Wazdakka Gutsmek. Along with the background, there are new Detachments for the Space Marines, Orks, and Astra Militarum, as well as the Armoured Gauntlet game mode, featuring missions and extra rules for using armies packed with vehicles, tanks, and monsters.

There is also a collector’s edition, featuring a handsome slipcase with gold foil lettering. The two main books have soft-touch covers, gold gilt page edges, and green ribbon bookmarks. This collector’s edition is only available while stocks last.

Dice

The best of Armageddon frenemies, Yarrick and Ghazghkull, are both getting dice sets. Each set features 16 dice with squared edges. The Yarrick ones are cast in pearlised black acrylic plastic with gold and metallic red ink markings and a Yarrick logo – featuring metallic detailing on his Bale Eye – on the six face. Ghazghkull’s dice are in the classic Goff clan colourings of black and white, while his logo on the six face also has a metallic red accent. Both of these dice sets are only available while stocks last.

Da Freebooterz Code

Find out in Da Freebooterz Code, by Justin Woolley, available in both hardback and as a Special Edition. The latter features a faux leather cover, an additional short story, and is signed by the author. Both formats are available while stocks last.

Death World (20th Anniversary Edition)

This tale is as action-packed as it ever was, and now features a new cover and an introduction by the author, Steve Lyons. This 20th anniversary edition is only available while stocks last.

World Ablaze

Armageddon is a World Ablaze – this anthology includes 11 new short stories set on the planet, written by fan-favourite Black Library authors Guy Haley, Denny Flowers, Jude Reid, and more. The Astra Militarum, Black Templars, Blood Angels, Space Wolves, and others battle the ork menace – can they manage to stem the green tide? This hardback is only available while stocks last.

Legends Of The Waaagh!

The orks take centre stage in Legends of the Waaagh!. This omnibus features three novels and three short stories, written by fan-favourite authors Dan Abnett, Aaron Dembski-Bowden, and Sandy Mitchell. Meet the Beast, one of the biggest orks ever, join the fight for Hive Helsreach, and go on a campaign with the infamous Ciaphas Cain. This paperback is only available while stocks last.

Yarrick: The Omnibus

Follow Old Bale Eye from his earliest days in the Schola Progenium to his legendary battles on Armageddon. Yarrick: The Omnibus includes two novels, a novella, and six short stories, all written by David Annandale. This paperback is only available while stocks last.

Veterans Of The Fall

Join the Kasrkin veterans known as the Tattershields as they try to come to terms with the destruction of their home world, Cadia. Veterans of the Fall, by William Crowe, brings together the five parts of the serial Tatters of Hope, first published in White Dwarf, alongside the short story Tattershield, and a brand-new novella, Veterans of the Fall. This paperback is only available while stocks last.

Demolisher (French & German Editions)

Join the crew of a Leman Russ battle tank as they are hurled into yet another conflict. How much will the commander risk in the name of duty, and will that include the hard-won trust of her crew? Demolisher, by Andy Clark, is available in French and German paperback editions, both while stocks last.

Imperial Creed (French & German Editions)

Go right back to the start of Yarrick’s legend in Imperial Creed. Long before he set foot on Armageddon, he was sent to the planet Mistral, where Chaos cults, fanatical Adepta Sororitas, and clandestine inquisitors stood between him and his mission. The French and German versions of this paperback are available while stocks last.

The digital versions of these books will be available on the Black Library App from 9 May 2026.
