Warhammer animation is set for a bumper year.
The new trailer that just dropped gives us not only some as-yet-unseen clips, but also confirms the names of three new Warhammer 40,000 animations set to arrive in the coming months.
The first two of these, Adepta Sororitas: Penitence and Aeronautica are each three-part Warhammer 40,000 animations, from the teams that brought you shows like Pariah Nexus and The Tithes, featuring Sisters of Battle, Orks, Imperial Navy, and Aeldari.
Butcher’s Nails, like all Hammer and Bolter episodes, is a one-off animation, but something tells us that this single episode might pack just as much bloodshed and carnage into its shorter runtime as any other show might across a whole season.
There are even more shows coming later in the year that you can look forward to, including the much anticipated return of Astartes.
The action begins next month with the first episode of Adepta Sororitas: Penitence, available to watch on warhammertv.com for Warhammer+ subscribers. There’s also plenty more to watch on Warhammer TV this week, from a showcase of some gorgeous dioramas on Painting Desk to a Deep Strike exploring some of the awesome DK Warhammer books that have been released in the last two years.
