September is a big month at Warhammer World, as the epic Grand Narrative returns for the greatest weekend of narrative Warhammer this side of the Atlantic. Let’s see what’s coming up.

Prepare to translate in-system and take your place in the Warhammer 40,000 canon as the Grand Narrative returns to Warhammer World for the second year running – now as its own independent event! For those unaware, the Grand Narrative is an epic in-character storytelling extravaganza that immerses players in an ongoing narrative affected by their own actions, told through an eclectic cast of characters from Rogue Traders to lowly Grots.
This year, commanders at Warhammer World will deploy to an as-yet unrevealed sector of Imperium Nihilus, and whatever transpires in these distant stars could leave an indelible mark on the history of Warhammer 40,000.

You’ll be playing a total of six 2,000-point games over the course of three action-packed days, with custom missions and unexpected twists making this a Warhammer experience like no other. As an in-character event, cosplay is highly encouraged, and you’ll be surrounded by fellow fans immersing themselves in the Grand Narrative’s legendary emergent storytelling.
Especially courageous or dastardly actions will be noted, so make sure to engage with the story and do your part for your Lord of War! It takes place from 26th - 28th September 2025.
Of course, there’s also a Grand Narrative in the US, which will be held at the World Championships of Warhammer in Atlanta, GA, in November.

Throne of Skulls is a laid-back tournament series with a more casual, less competitive edge, and this time it heads back to the Age of Darkness for a fun weekend of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Muster your favourite 3,000-point army to conquer the battlefield across five games, with lunch provided on both days and all kinds of prizes on offer, including for generalship, sportsmanship, and painting. It takes place from 13th - 14th September 2025.

Spend a day playing the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game with friends old and new. You’ll play three rounds over the course of a single weekday, with awards for game performance, painting, and most sporting player. It takes place on 18th September 2025.
