Awesome Warhammer Events coming soon to Palm Springs and Nottingham

It’s time for the last Warhammer World events reveal of 2025, looking ahead to exciting tournaments and laid-back gaming days in 2026. We’ve announced loads of events already and now we’re moving into April with a dynamite calendar featuring Warhammer 40,000, Warhammer: The Horus Heresy and Blood Bowl.

You don’t have to wait until April to take part in an awesome Warhammer event, though, as the Warhammer Open in Palm Springs, California, opens its doors on the 16th of January with hobby and gaming activities galore – and there’s still a few tickets left to scoop up.

If you’ve never been to a Warhammer Open event before, they’re some of the best celebrations of our hobby on the calendar. Not only are there intense tournaments with Golden Tickets to the World Championships of Warhammer on the line, but also narrative games, hobby challenges, and, best of all, the chance to meet your fellow Warhammer fans from all over the country.

Is there anything better than spending a weekend with like-minded souls, sharing the hobby experience and making new friends over a pot of paint or three? No, actually, there isn’t – so come see for yourself.

Right! On to Warhammer events here at Warhammer World. And there’s Administratum news first – booking events at Warhammer World is changing, as we move to a new system. Tickets will be available for the following events in early January, stay tuned to the Warhammer World Facebook page for details!

Form up on the gridiron and get ready for an exciting one-day tournament of bone-crunching Blood Bowl, right in the heart of the Warhammer hobby. Build your team to a budget of 1,150,000 gold pieces and meet fellow coaches vying for victory across three games held throughout the day, with lunch provided for all ticket holders so you can take a moment to sit on the sidelines and soak in the atmosphere.

This is the first big event from the new edition of Blood Bowl, and it’s guaranteed to be a belter! This event takes place on the 4th of April.

Assemble your best 2,000 point army and lock in for two days of lively Warhammer 40,000 action at the Warhammer World Grand Tournament – an awesome weekend of Matched Play action where you’ll have the chance to test your skills against fellow hobbyists and earn a spot in the hallowed World Championships of Warhammer. Lunch will be provided on both days, and the Favourite Army competition gives you a chance to single out the best painted collections on the day for their own special awards.

This event takes place on the 18th and 19th of April.

Got weekend plans but want to join in with the Warhammer fun this April? Welcome to Shifting Fronts – a wonderful one-day tournament that banishes the midweek blues with a series of fun and furious battles set amidst the ashes of the 41st Millennium. You’ll bring a 1,000-point Incursion army and duke it out over three games that’ll be done before tea time, with prizes awarded for sportsmanship, generalship, and… paintsmanship? Painterliness? Whatever the term is for being good at painting.

This event takes place on the 29th of April.

The Horus Heresy also gets into the short-form action with a 1,500-point tournament taking place over a single diabolical day of traitorous assaults and valiant loyalist stands. There are plenty of prizes on offer for brilliant generals and dedicated painters, and you’ll get three games packed into a day full of action from The Horus Heresy.

Bring an army, call some new friends ‘Loyalist lackeys’, and shore up the Imperium’s defences before the true madness of Horus arrives. It’s a seriously great time – the Clash of Arms event takes place on the 22nd of April.

Don’t forget, local heroes – Warhammer World also has its Store Anniversary event coming up, and if you’re anywhere near the home of Warhammer in Nottingham, you’ll want to stop by. We have the new miniatures, we have all sorts going on, and honestly it’s just a great place to hang out with other Warhammer fans for some quality chatting, playing, and discussion of the merits of Ironjawz Yellow versus Imperial Fist.

If you’re one of our European contingent – or just really love to travel – stay tuned for more on the Warhammer Open event happening in Maastricht, which is coming up in just a few months’ time.
