Reinforce your shelves – Classic Emperor’s Children, Aeldari, and Space Wolves are going Made to Order

In the last 12 months, the Aeldari, Emperor’s Children and Space Wolves have all received stunning new miniatures.

Whether you’re a veteran who remembers buying blister packs with single metal miniatures, or a newer fan who has pored over old issues of White Dwarf or seen classic miniatures shared online, you’ll recognise historical influences on these newer miniatures. And now, a few more of them are coming back on a Made to Order basis.

The Emperor’s Children have a keen appreciation of aesthetics – and they’d be big fans of the old metal miniatures. Fabius Bile, Lucius the Eternal and their Chaos Lord are on the way, and any self-respecting follower of Slaanesh would be able to trace the artistic lineage.

Joining them is a set of three metal Noise Marines, their Champion equipped with a doom siren, while one totes a sonic blaster, and the other a blastmaster. Finally, the audacious glam rock Noise Marine, who was himself an exuberant update to an even older miniature, is also returning for an encore.

Nearly all of the legendary Phoenix Lords and their Aspect Warriors have been upgraded. The Phoenix Court of Khaine set includes a smouldering metal Avatar, as well as Baharroth, Karandras, Asurmen, Jain Zar, Maugan Ra and Fuegan – usher in your very own Rhana Dandra.

The original metal Eldrad Ulthran, who bears more than a passing resemblance to his plastic reincarnation, will also be also available, alongside a set of five metal Warlocks and the original metal Farseer from the Rogue Trader days. On top of that, the Webway gate terrain feature will return.

The Space Wolves are fresh on shelves, but Lukas the Trickster will be returning in metal, as will the classic Njal Stormcaller and a Wolf Guard Battle Standard. There’s a set containing an Iron Priest, a Rune Priest and a Rune Priest in Terminator Armour which sounds like a joke setup in search of a bar. Finally, you can grab the original Bjorn the Fell-Handed, a truly venerable Dreadnought.

These sets will be released at separate times, so keep an eye on upcoming Sunday Preview articles for when they will be available to order. And remember, as Made to Order products, they will only be available for a limited time.
