Saturday Pre-order – Scouts and Stealth suits sneak into Kill Team

An elite team of XV26 Stealth Battlesuit operators have been sent to the world of Ctesiphus VII to plunder powerful technology from a slumbering Necron tomb complex, and a pack of Wolf Scouts have been dispatched to hunt them down in a tense game of cat and mouse in the latest Kill Team box on pre-order this week. There’s also a bounty of Black Library releases, and a stack of Christmas-themed merch. Everything available to pre-order today will be released in two weeks’ time.

Kill Team: Dead Silence

Kill Team: Dead Silence is the next expansion for the game of high-stakes tactical skirmishes, and it contains two new kill teams, the Wolf Scouts and the XV26 Stealth Battlesuits, plus the Ctesiphus Expedition Campaign Pack, which gives you the rules and guidance to run a solo, multiplayer, or co-op campaign where you explore the surface and tombs of Ctesiphus VII.

The Wolf Scouts are a six-operative kill team, with one operative being a fearsome Fenrisian Wolf. Four of the five other operatives can pick from a choice of two specialisms each, and all five Wolf Scouts can choose from eight interchangeable head options. The XV26 Stealth Battlesuits kill team builds five of these technologically advanced cloaking suits, and the kit comes with two fusion blasters and five burst cannons with which to equip your operatives. The team also comes with an MV75 Marker Drone, an MV15 Gun Drone, and a homing beacon.

Both teams also come with transfer sheets. You can find out everything about this exciting new expansion in our exhaustive reveal article. Kill Team: Dead Silence is only available while stocks last.

A wealth of heads and shoulderpads, divided between First Founding and successor Chapters, let you customise your team of hard-bitten veterans. You also get a set of unique tokens for use in games of Kill Team.

Like a Screamer-Killer on the charge or a Boomdakka Snazzwagon careening across the battlefield, Christmas is barreling towards us. Never fear, though, because we’ve got all sorts of Warhammer-themed Christmas bits for you to pick up today.

You can devote your tree to the Ruinous Powers with a set of four baubles themed around the Chaos gods, then confuse matters by crowning it with a Twin-Tailed Comet Tree Topper – best to hedge your bets when it comes to gods, we find. With your decorating done, you’ll need to grab a cuppa and relax, which is what the Da Red Gobbo mug and coaster gift set* is for. Don’t forget to wrap up warm as the chill comes in, and you might as well do it in style with a choice of Space Wolves or Adepta Sororitas hat and scarf sets.***

A multi-faction Warhammer 40,000 Christmas Stocking gives you somewhere to store your incoming small gifts – do we still do bags of chocolate coins? – while a pair of Space Wolves Socks gives you somewhere to put your feet. Flawless segue. No deft linking sentence here, but a Gloomspite Gitz Squig Mouse Mat requires no introduction or sell, because it’s a mouse mat with a squig on, which will look perfect on your desk.

Last but not least, you can dress up as one of Grandfather Nurgle’s jolliest creations with the Nurgling Mega Hoodie. It’s big, fluffy, and great for keeping the winter chill at bay, ironically safeguarding you from the kinds of illness Nurgle would otherwise enjoy proliferating.
