It’s too sunny to be thinking about October, but that does mean you have almost four full months between finding out about these upcoming Warhammer World events and actually playing in them, which is more than enough time to put together a whole new army.
The Warhammer Open series is returning to Washington State in July! Join us for an amazing weekend filled with gaming, shopping, and hobby events galore in the shadow of Mt. Rainier at the Greater Tacoma Convention Center. Our largest and most established Warhammer Open sees its 4th iteration, with over 450 players in the 40k GT alone!
We'll be running a number of events across this three-day Warhammer extravaganza (not even counting Thursday night's opening festivities) including 10 gaming events covering six different systems, the fan-favourite Hobby Challenge, nine incredible painting classes with world renown miniature painting artists Erik Swinson, Dan Ozborne and Steve Garcia, and a painting competition for all of the budding artists in attendance.
Don't forget you'll also be able to pick up the awesome event exclusive miniatures and merch from our events store, so even if you can't make the whole weekend, there will be something for you to check out.

Love the claustrophobic Boarding Actions battles of Warhammer 40,000? Grab a ticket for the Into the Breach event for an action-packed day of gaming. Bring a boarding party worth 500 points and compete for awards, including performance, painting, and sporting behaviour across three games. This event takes place on Wednesday the 8th of October.
Looking for some fast-paced Warhammer Age of Sigmar action? The Spearhead Sand and Bone event condenses all the fun into the swift and strategic Spearhead format, and you’ll play three games over the course of one day, with awards for performance, painting, and sportsmanship. This event takes place on Wednesday the 15th of October.
Grab a mate and your favourite Warhammer Age of Sigmar army for five games played over two days at the Throne of Skulls Doubles Tournament. Lunch is provided, along with awards for game performance, painting, and sporting conduct. This event takes place on the weekend of the 18th and 19th of October.
Pair up with a friend and combine your Warhammer 40,000 armies together into a single 2,000-point force for the Throne of Skulls Doubles Tournament. You’ll play five games across two days and compete for awards for game performance, painting skill, and sportsmanship – lunch is also provided on both days. This event takes place on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of October.
