Warhammer Heroes 2026 – Nominate the unsung heroes who shaped your Warhammer journey

Warhammer is excellent, a fact we can all agree on, but just as excellent are the people involved. Warhammer Heroes is just one of the ways we like to recognise the wider community of genuinely incredible people out there who are brought together by their love of Warhammer, and acknowledge them and the brilliant things they do for the community.

From today until the 27th of February, you’ll be able to submit your own nomination for the individuals you think should be recognised as Warhammer Heroes, for their dedication, selflessness, and shared love of Warhammer.

It’s important to us that Warhammer Heroes is a celebration of people who go the extra mile. While many heroes run events or clubs, perhaps your personal hero travelled halfway across a country to deliver the unit someone had left at home ahead of a tournament, or even lent them a whole army after an emergency! We believe impact on a personal level is just as important as impact on a community level, and is worth recognising and celebrating.

These awards are a reflection of the Warhammer hobby as a whole, so think hard and look back at all the people who have had an impact on your journey through the Warhammer hobby. When you know who you want to nominate as your true Warhammer Hero, fill out the submissions form – it’s the only way we’ll be able to receive your official recommendation.

We also read every single submission, so make sure your story is as personal as possible – we’re after real, relatable stories that shine a light on the unsung heroes who have made an impact.

Warhammer Heroes 2026

Nominate a hero

There are already many very visible content creators and influencers out there who we all know and love, but Warhammer Heroes offers the opportunity to bring that same visibility to all your unsung heroes. Last year we saw awards given to people like Hannah Wilson, who leads the Warhammer Society at the University of Derby, UK, which was awarded the Most Inclusive Society award by their student union, and Gustavo Darío Vásquez Durán and Ruth Margarita García López, who have promoted the hobby space Orko Trotzko in the city of La Paz, Bolivia, a place that provides a safe space for over 200 members to enjoy Warhammer together.

Other past winners include Lee Morris in 2024, who brought together London-based paramedics via Warhammer, helping them unwind from a difficult job, or JC Watts, who used Warhammer to help raise over $30,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association whilst battling cancer himself.

There are more stories than we can fit in this article comfortably, as well as those of many worthy nominees whose stories connected with us profoundly. Ultimately, true Warhammer Heroes do the things they do selflessly, not for recognition and awards. If you do want to read more of the stories that connected with us on a personal level, click the accordion button below.

You can also read about all of the previous winners, and see how brilliant, inspiring, and charitable the wider Warhammer community can be, on the Roll of Honour

Chosen heroes will be awarded a beautiful Warhammer Heroes medal, alongside other goodies, such as being added to the Wall of Honour in Bugman’s Bar at Warhammer World, and will receive an invitation to one of our special Awards Evenings – including accommodation for one night and admission for a companion. Last year our winners joined us for unforgettable awards evenings in the UK and US in November.

Submissions will be accepted from right now until 11:59pm GMT on the 27th of January 2025. Winners will be contacted, and announced later in the year.
