Golden Demon returns in 2026 – Find out how to enter

There is nothing quite like Golden Demon – the buzz of eager painters, the quiet awe of passing onlookers – and we couldn’t be happier to announce that once again the prestigious painting competition returns for the first leg of 2026 at AdeptiCon. It’s a true celebration of the Warhammer hobby that welcomes entrants of all skill levels, and if you’re looking to join the fun, you can find the entry details below.

Next year’s AdeptiCon takes place from the 25th of March at the Baird Center in Milwaukee. If you’ve suddenly been struck by your Warhammer muse, you’ve still got three months of building and painting to create something incredible!

If you’re a returning entrant who joined us for the 2025 season, welcome back! The categories haven’t changed this time – aside from a minor tweak to one name – so you can still get busy with a wide variety of settings and styles, from singular miniatures to grand dioramas.

We’re also delighted to announce that renowned painter, and multi-award winner Erik Swinson will be joining the panel as a guest judge for this season.
