The Blood Ravens are back on Kronus with Captain Cyrus and Chief Librarian Jonah Orion both featuring in an epic Story Campaign. For those looking forward to a thrilling Warhammer 40,000 story, there’s great news – the campaign is being co-written by Black Library author John French, who has written a number of fantastic books including the recently released Dropsite Massacre. He also wrote Cypher: Lord of the Fallen, which is handy because the Blood Ravens aren’t the only Space Marine chapter battling on Kronus. The First have also responded to the call to war.
You’ll get to command both the Blood Ravens and the Dark Angels in different campaign missions as the story progresses. Leading the sons of the Lion are Company Master Astoran and Chaplain Ezrael. Well versed in large-scale battles, the Dark Angels bring millennia of experience and unique tactics to the biggest brawls in Dawn of War IV. Rumour has it that even the Primarch himself has taken an interest in the fight for Kronus…
Aside from the Space Marines, the Adeptus Mechanicus also have a vested interest in the fate of Kronus, as they search for lost knowledge and artifacts. There’s just the minor issue of two rival Ork Warbosses vying for power to lead a colossal Waaagh! across the planet, and Necrons appearing from both an invasion fleet and tombs beneath the surface to claim what is rightfully theirs – which, according to Chronomancer Thothmek, is everything.
