The Helsmiths of Hashut subjugate everything that falls under their gaze, but sometimes they bite off more than they can chew. A failed war effort in Ghyran leaves a band of spiteful duardin on a quest to immolate a sacred wood in the new expansion of Warhammer Underworlds. They’re joined by four new collections of existing warbands, new Legions Imperialis Combat Forces, and more in this week’s Sunday Preview.

Warhammer Underworlds: Spitewood
A new expansion for the latest edition of Warhammer Underworlds takes the action to the Spitewood, as a vengeful group of Helsmiths attempts to burn the heart out of this arboreal realm, while a band of Kurnoth’s most loyal followers fight back with ferocious speed.

This box contains two new warbands – Kurnoth’s Heralds and the Blood of the Bull – plus their warscroll and fighter cards, as well as a double-sided game board representing the deep forests of Ghyran. You also get a sheet of tokens, a 16-page rulebook introducing new mechanics for the Spitewood board, and two Rivals decks – Hunting Grounds and Deadly Synergy. To use this expansion you’ll need a copy of Warhammer Underworlds: Embergard.
Accompanying this new expansion is a set of four bundle boxes containing existing warbands, all grouped by Grand Alliance. All of these boxes include the warscroll card and fighter cards for each warband.
Seekers in Shadow
A collection of adventurous warbands prepare to delve into darkness in the Seekers in Shadow box, which contains Xandire’s Truthseekers, the Shadeborn, the Starblood Stalkers, and Elathain’s Soulraid.
Reavers of Ruin
Bring devastation to Embergard and the Spitewood with the Reavers of Ruin box, which collects four warbands in thrall to Chaos. You get the Gnarlspirit Pack, Skittershank’s Clawpack, the Thricefold Discord, and the Wurmspat.
Morbid Minions
The servants of Nagash are ready to claim the souls of the living personally in deadly Underworlds combat. Morbid Minions brings the Exiled Dead, the Sons of Velmorn, the Skinnerkin, and Thorns of the Briar Queen together in one box.
Gitz and Goliaths
Ogors, troggoths, and grots unite to smash and grab all the glory they can with the Gitz and Goliaths box, which includes Hrothgorn’s Mantrappers, Rippa’s Snarlfangs, Mollog’s Mob, and Zarbag’s Gitz.
Warbands of Spitewood
If you’ve got every one of the above warbands – or most of them – then you can get the updated fighter and warscroll cards for all 16 in the Warbands of Spitewood set. The cards visually differ slightly to those contained within the four boxes above, with photography of the warbands on the reverse of each warscroll card.

Arcane Journal: The War of Settra's Fury
Settra the Imperishable continues his march through the Border Princes in order to reach the Vaults, the range of mountains that sits on Bretonnia’s southern border, in a new 48-page Arcane Journal. This supplement contains background lore on the war in the Border Princes, as well as rules for Battle March – a new high speed game mode for 500-750 point games, with force limitations, three deployment maps, and changes to scoring.
On top of that, there are new Tomb Kings of Khemri rules for the monstrous mounts and incantations of the Mortuary Cult, as well as two Armies of Infamy – Renegade Crowns for the Empire of Man, and the Slayer Host for the Dwarfen Mountain Holds.
Liche Priests
Holding the secrets of unlife, Liche Priests are the root of the Tomb King’s power, conducting powerful rituals to recall spirits from the Realm of Souls and wielding ancient Nehekharan lore to smite their foes in battle. This new box contains two plastic Liche Priests, one on foot and one mounted on a barded skeletal steed. Each has a number of interchangeable options, including four heads, a pair of scales that can be swapped across both models, and a choice of staff toppers. The priest on foot also has options for a magical effect base topper and an eerie floating scroll.
Royal Heralds
From princes to kings, all the rulers of Nehekhara seek to reclaim their former glory by marching to war with their undead legions. Each is accompanied by a coterie of personal champions and bodyguards, some of which also act as heralds who fly their liege’s colours in battle.
This new kit builds a plastic Tomb Prince and Royal Herald – with your choice of which one walks and which is mounted on a skeletal steed. Both have a number of cosmetic options, including a cape and collar, chest decorations, right hand choices, including two hand weapons and an empty hand, left hand options, including battle standard, shield, or great weapon, and two head options for both Tomb Prince and Royal Herald.

Space Marine Plush
Space Marines are genetically engineered warriors clad in thick ceramite armour who battle the enemies of the Imperium, often called Angels of Death for the awe and fear they inspire in equal measure. Gloomspite Git Plush

Look at the delightful trim on his cloak! His red-eyed scowl! He’s perfect for sitting furtively in a corner, plotting with you on your desk.
Blood Bowl Ball Plush
