The new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy is available to pre-order now, alongside five Libers containing your faction rules, and the first of many Journals Tactica. These 48-page softback expansion books are designed to explore the background of this all-consuming galactic war, and provide new rules for your armies, adding new units, new formations, new ways to play and more.
The focus of each Journal will be different, and the first one zooms in on the events of the Isstvan V Dropsite Massacre.
Legendary Mission – The First Wave lets you replay the moment that the Loyalist vanguard made contact with the Traitors, and attempted to violently force their way through the defences. It gives you a chance to attempt to rewrite history – and you can download it today, completely free.
With that downloaded, you’ll be able to recreate this iconic battle as soon as you’ve received and built your Saturnine box and read through the rules.
